It was what we wanted to enjoy our Cotswolds adventure. Wonderful breakfast each day. Loved the teapot to make real tea in our room. The bed was great and comfortable. The staff were so helpful and very friendly.

    Genuinely, nothing. Was blown away.

Outstanding. Truly lovely place, and the team running it are exceptional. I'm not someone who takes pictures of their food, but ended up photographing both dinner and breakfast- they looked like works of art! Tasted as good as they looked. Worth every penny.

It was all good. The only hard thing for me and my son was being so far away from my mums guest bedroom.

Tasteful sympathetic decor for a building from the 1600s with lovely touches. We loved the extended dining room; with so much light and space. We loved our loft room and also the outside seating spaces in the walled garden

One of the best stays in the UK, by far! The special cottage, the beautiful surroundings, delicious food and amazingly comfy beds: every detail sets your time there for total relax in high quality. I had some specific health requests and the staff was amazingly accommodating; a delicious wine as welcome treat; free water and high quality amenities in the room; and a big plus was that our dog could join us with absolutely no fuss. Location is perfect for a Cotswolds and Oxfordshire travel. I can’t wait to come back.

The stairs to the second floor are narrow. However, I am very grateful that they were willing to change to a room on the first floor considering my situation with two suitcases.

A stylish and classic atmosphere in a unique accommodation remodeled from a traditional house. The warm and hearty breakfast cooked by me was excellent, and I will definitely stay again when I visit the UK again. It was a happy experience to feel the traditional British atmosphere in the quiet morning neighborhood atmosphere and the atmosphere of the accommodation.

Maybe one more vegetarian option on the main menu would be good. There was a specials menu so I was able to choose something really lovely from that but the other main menu option was a falafel burger which wasn't as exciting sounding as the rest of the non-vegetarian mains.

We booked a stay at The Royal Oak as a last minute getaway and we were so impressed with the attic room! It was lovely to stay in such a quirky, old place. It has been renovated really well and we loved all the old original features of the room. The extra welcoming touch of a little carafe of port was lovely too! We had a meal in the hotel restaurant in the evening and breakfast in the morning, both of which were delicious. We loved the way the bar was decorated with dried hops. We would love to stay again!

I cannot think of one single thing.

The Royal Oak is genuinely one of the nicest pubs I have ever visited. Its located in the pretty village of Ramden in the Cotswolds. It manages to be cosy and contemporary, and full of character. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious, the room was spacious and comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was very luxurious.

No lift so it may be a bit challenging for aging people. Better to come with car otherwise you have to book a taxi from the rail station.

Love everything about the stay! The hotel is delicately decorated and gives a nice cosy and romantic vibe. The rooms are spacious and have a vintage feel. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back in the future!

The Royal Oak is a beautiful Cotswold pub with rooms. It is very characterful with a lovely atmosphere. The room was very cosy and the complimentary port was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the dinner. The lady who booked us in and generally looked after us couldn’t have been more helpful.
