Both very minor as the place is really lovely. a) More places for towels in the bathrooms i.e. hooks b) Suit case stands as on a short stay you tend to live from your case.

Lovely big appartment, nice configuration and architecture. Great part of the city, wide cobled road, nice views. You can easily walk to the tourist buses and shops.

Clean, spacious apartment - perfect for our family of 4. Very bright and quiet. It was fantastic to have two full bathrooms and the apartment had everything we needed. Street parking was ample and easy. Location was nice - not too far away from all the popular attractions.

Couple of issues with water pressure.

Beautiful flat in a quiet, charming neighborhood. Short hike to The Royal Mile, New Town, shops and restaurants. Loved the amazing bookstore down the street! It truly was a home away from home: warm and inviting.

The main toilet was not flushing from the moment we arrived. I tried to call the number provided for such events but there was no reply so I left a message. It was rather inconvenient with 3 adults having to share the ensuite during the night. To be fair we were only there for 1 night. I didn't expect an immediate response but decided to leave a note for the host as we'd had no response during our stay. I still have had no apology or explanation but as I keep being asked for a review I decided I had to give an honest one.

The location is good. The property is amazing. It is a huge basement apartment with beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished rooms. We particularly appreciated the personal touches like fresh milk in the fridge (important after a long journey) and some shortbread in a jar.

we were told the day before that hot water was limited which should really have been included as a disclaimer before we booked. we were also unable to control the heating as it only came on at certain times so found the place quite cold at times.

The apartment was cold at times, especially the kitchen floor. Bring slippers! Was challenging to find a nearby convenience store for basic supplies. Since it’s a ground floor apartment you do hear upstairs noise at times.

We absolutely loved our stay - wouldn’t change anything!

Stunning apartment, so comfortable and really warm and cosy which we were surprised at being such an old building! Great location close enough to walk into the centre but very quiet on the road also. Beds were really comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Was even little extras like milk in the fridge and shortbreads on the side which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property that has been decorated in a sympathetic way to retain its original features. Surprisingly light and airy given the basement/light well arrangement. Comfy and cosy. Perfect for a small family, our 8 year old loved it.

Although the place was lovely, there was a few things I didn't like. First, we had no control over heating, and it was a little cold in the morning and at night. There was no drawer space in either bedroom, so we were just living out or cases. Hot water limited after 9pm which...although I understand...made it difficult for 4 people to have a shower at night. There was no forks in the kitchen, and was a broken cabinet door which kept swinging open. Just a few things that could be sorted.

We arrived after only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Apartment was beautiful. Very clean and spacious. It was well decorated. Location was great, only a 5 minute walk from Playhouse. Was very easy to check in and out with no problem. Would book here again.
