Was difficult to have a meal with the family as there wasn't a suitable table to eat at... very awkward on the little coffee table

Really helpful communication with the host... very quiet area

The location was excellent, 10minute drive to Longleat, continental breakfast was lovely and there was half dozen complimentary eggs from the farm. The property was very well equipped couldn’t fault it! Would certainly book again.

    Nothing to complain about.

Gorgeous location, a horse lived next door, if you like horses then you will love it. The lady that is the owner she’s really lovely and always happy to answer any questions you have. Fresh eggs at the property, I didn’t use them but was a lovely free addition. There literally was a lovely pub a two minute walk away with delicious food and great service called the bath arms not far from Shearwater lake.

For those who might have a low car (like a Ferrari) you need to be aware that the track down from the gate is like a farm track and there's a chance of bottoming. The entrance gate could be better highlighted as it's so easy to go past it in the dark - maybe a reflector or just a spot of bright paint on the top of the gatepost? A desk where I could work would've been great - quite difficult to work on a laptop in the lounge. Maybe a small desk in the bedroom? - or even a dressing table. Without a desk I would say that the accommodation is not best suited for business people who might want to work.

For a continental breakfast it was really good, plenty of croissants, jam and and coffee bags. Very sweet little "apartment" The "What Three Words" location was invaluable - I'd never have found it otherwise.

The cutest and cosiest place to stay in a lovely setting! Everything had been thought of. The breakfast selection was great. The hosts were friendly. Super soft bedding and towels! The log burner was an amazing addition. Lots of places to visit nearby but we equally loved relaxing for hours in the snug! Would gladly return!

It would be nice to have curtains at Patio door as It disrupts privacy (to some extent) although patio open in garden. Secondly , it might be us but lights outside patio can’t be switched off and it just make sleeping on sofa bed difficult .

Nice location in farms. Good place for small family to stay and have some quality time

It was quite cold. I arrived at 8pm and the heating wasn’t on you switched it on yourself, so it took a while to warm up and although I left it on, the thermostat dropped to 13degrees by morning and it was frosty outside. The lock box is quite hard to see in the dark as quite high up.

The property was clean, very comfy bed, clear instructions and directions.

Staying at the rural retreat was an absolute delight, the hosts were very helpful and extremely friendly and the surroundings were beautiful and private, I'm looking forward to returning when I next visit Bath. I especially liked the wildlife as we had a visit from a squirrel and a pheasant in the morning when we were having breakfast.

There wasn’t any instructions for the oven and so had to ask the owners to come and show me how to operate it. This really is quite a small thing and the owners came around and showed us how to operate it, but it would probably pay them to leave a copy of the instructions in the property.

The property was lovely and the host were friendly and helpful. It was situated in a nice location within an easy drive to a number of attractions. The host supplied us with a what three words location, so the property was easy to find, something that more property owners should consider. The property was very clean and they supplied a continental breakfast, which was a nice touch.

It is a little tricky to find along the road as there is no sign and the driveway entrance is hidden. Definitely could do with a towel rail in the bathroom and some clothes hanging facility in the bedroom. We also couldn't get onto the WiFi during our stay.

The Snug is in a lovely secluded spot, with very accommodating hosts. Athough it is next to the house, you feel like you are on your own, with your own sunny patio to sit on, looking accross your own garden. We also had a squirrel to watch sometimes too. Inside and out is spotless. Bed is comfortable and the whole place has a cosy feel. Shower is brilliant and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The continental breakfast was delicious with good quality products. Good selection of board games available too, which was great in the evening. It's location is ideal for Longleat, Bath and surrounding villages to explore and there's a pub approx 200 metres down the road.
