The bathroom had no grab rail on the wall to facilitate the elderly or disabled to feel safe when stepping into the bath to shower. Plus there should be a couple of shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries on.

The room was good, the breakfast was plentiful and the service excellent. The location is perfect, short walk to shopping precinct, Winter Gardens, trams, beach front and Blackpool Tower.

The bedroom was very small and hot. It was unusually warm for May. Pillows could have been of a better quality

Room was warm so opened the window, unfortunately so did every1 else, so there was rooms around us on each side and down the sides, we was in middle, so it was abit noisey 1st thing in morning n last thing at night, air con could be the answer. This is the ONLY negative I can say about this hotel however,we only had a standard room though.

Great location, Food was excellent, comfortable beds, entertainment every night.

Room very very hot and unable to control temp..steps up to bathroom which was awkward for both my friend and I..Shower very very small.. bed not too great..breakfast was so so but only warm..food in bar was better and good portions.

There was a bit of a fuss initially from reception about providing a physical debit card or form of ID which we hadn’t been told about. I was able to sort it by emailing a copy as I no longer carry physical cards

Room was comfortable but could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. The fosset on the sink was broken, I don’t see why it wasn’t repaired. Some days the room wasn’t cleaned despite me hanging the sign requesting service, meaning we were left with used mugs and spoons and no facilities to wash them.

Excellent location and suited our needs perfectly. The room was basic but was everything we needed. Friendly staff, busy hotel with a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant was able to cater for my coeliac daughter which was a huge factor for me when booking our accommodation. I didn’t get to visit the spa but they have some great treatments on offer!

The lift is a bit slow and can be very busy as I'm disabled had to wait, but it wasn't a major issue

Everything about the ruskin is amazing the staff so friendly and will do anything for you Phil is amazing and the entertainment is great loved our stay so much booked again for September

How friendly the staff were, perfect location for what we needed and we were able to leave our luggage while we went sightseeing before going home. We liked it that much we have already decided we will stay here again next trip.

There is only one lift at present so at busy times it was easier to use the stairs.

The rooms were clean albeit on the small side. The food was excellent and the entertainment was very good.
