Peaceful and tranquil stay in this beautiful area, the caravan and hot tub are brilliant, thank you Ruth and Dean for sharing all the tips (curry, bike rides and local areas to visit) highly recommend Ruths Rest.

I love everything about this place!!

Absolutely wonderful retreat with fabulous friendly attentive host who can’t do enough for you, the location is beautiful and only 17 minutes drive to Shrewsbury town centre & if your looking for a good pub lunch the Red Lion within walking distance from the retreat is great, all of the retreat is immediately clean & tidy with the added bonus of some wonderful animals within the grounds, lovely relaxing surroundings, beautiful garden the hot tubs are brilliant both Ruth & Dean (the host have thought of everything and it shows) lovely break away I truly don’t have enough good words to say about our stay we loved it and can’t wait to return again soon.

We loved everything about Ruth's Rest, the peacefulness, the hosts, the pets, and of course the accommodation. Ruth and Dean are lovely hosts which made our stay even nicer. Can't wait to go back to Ruth's Rest in the near future 😊

Nothing to not like.

Hot tub, facilities, peace and quiet. Had an amazing clear sky so hot tub and stars were a nice addition to the experience. Bbq area was a godsend. Would love to come back again in the future.

Booked for 2 nights and couldn’t be happier. Lovely caravan and very clean. Hot tub for ourselves which was brilliant, bbq ready to use and everything you need in the place. Even water in the fridge which was a nice touch.

Nothing that anyone could do anything about = the narrow winding road once left the main road.

There was nothing to not like.

Ruth is such a lovely woman, so welcoming. Couldn’t of chosen anywhere better to go for a break away, perfect location, gorgeous scenery. Im really happy that we visited Ruth’s Rest, worth the money 100% well worth it for the price. Definitely coming back! Xx

Ruth and Dean were great and very welcoming. The caravan was really cosy. The spa tub was amazing and plenty of seating outside, you even had your own brick bbq. Will definitely stay again,couldn't rate it highly enough. If you want a place to stay and want peace and tranquility then this it the place to go

The bed was very uncomfortable. Parking was rough, car nearly stuck. Entrance being worked on, bad dust & eye sore view. Privacy Not Great. Caravan Dated.

Unfortunately, the hot tub had broken for the majority of my stay - particularly when I had planned to use it most. Ruth and Dean worked hard to get it sorted, but it no longer fitted in with my plans to use when it was ready to use again - which was such a disappointment for me both financially and for my relaxing weekend.

Beautiful chalet with a hottub in Shropshire. Lovely clean accommodation with everything we needed for our short stay provided. Owner was very friendly on arrival and helpful. Rural location which had beautiful scenery around, would highly recommend booking Ruth's retreat for a small getaway before the mayhem of Christmas arrives.

The accommodation, we felt, uncomfortably close to the owners property, we felt we had little privacy. The microwave was rusty inside.

The accomodation was spotless, it was simply but nicely furnished, the host Ruth was helpful and welcoming. The location was lovely and although on the way there the lanes were a little precarious Ruth gave us alternative directions to a much better route in and out. The hot tub was amazing and soooo relaxing! There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area and some lovely villages and places to eat.

I would recommend this to anyone! A lovely location and really easy to find, Ruth & Dean were so helpful telling us where restaurants/pubs etc were and the best way to get to them. Nothing was too much for Ruth and always willing to help. Ruth’s house is close by but I didn’t ever feel like our privacy was invaded. Its also so lovely to be able to go and see the animals. Everything was very clean and the hot tub was lovely, I will definitely be coming back!

There isn't anything not to like, everything is perfect.

The location is lovely, the cabin is clean and cosy and the hot tub is perfect. More importantly Ruth and Dean are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome. We had the added bonus of getting the attention of the pooches Rosie Bud, Thunder and Lightening who are all absolutley adorable. I could not recommend this place enough for a perfect peaceful getaway. Thank you Ruth & Dean, we hope to be back soon 😊
