Unfortunately as it was a basement flat, the apartment had little to no natural light in the bedroom and bathroom, meaning it was very dark. However, I knew it was a basement flat upon booking so this was expected. It was also very loud and hard to sleep due to noise from flats above and noise from streets outside.

I really enjoyed the location, it was a very central apartment with all sorts of amenties nearby. The apartment was well-equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The bedroom was spacious, and the bathroom had a great shower and bath.

The parking we were advised of was closed (permanently) and only 1 hour, no return,parking in the day time available. Pressure in shower 6pm and 8am was very very low - and at 6pm could not get hot water from shower. As shower had it's own megaflow we thought this was a bit strange. Also lights flickered when fridge motor came on.

Apartment was fantastically clean and amazingly quiet; location was brilliant, lots of cafes and bars as well as close to central sites. Apartment (10) was huge, warm and well equipped. WiFi strong.

There was noisy building works going on outside which it might have been good to be told about before my stay rather than experiencing a rude awakening each morning. I had some writing to do so the noise didn’t make for the best conditions for concentration!

The windows did not seem to open and I think in the warmer months the apartment would be very hot/stuffy. I would stay again but only in cooler months.

The property was spotlessly clean, uncluttered and & fitted with everything I needed for my stay. I was a bit worried about the nighttime noise from outside as it is in a busy location but it was not a problem (I stayed a Friday & Saturday evening).

The landing light shone underneath my studio flat door & lit up my room on a night. Perhaps an internal door once inside the studio would eliminate this issue.

Asked for a room fan & hairdryer to be put in the room & this sorted out promptly. Very pleased.

pigeons in the roof space, shower that flooded, lack of detail in finding the building, all greenery in the photos were absent and the property lack a homely feel. No instructions left or on line about the smart TV.

The mattress of the sofa bed was covered in debris that had not been removed. There were no robes. There was no obvious place to sit and dry ones hair close to a mirror and power point. The shower fitting over the bath would not sit properly.

Our only complaint was the fridge. On its high setting it would part freeze items, on its low setting there would be a puddle of water in the fridge limiting use of the bottom section. We couldn't find a good medium, unfortunately. Other than this small issue we found everything else well thought-out and in very good condition.

Location was fantastic, room was a generous size with high ceilings. Very comfortable stay.

3 of 4 lightbulbs in one bathroom were burnt out. There were also some food splatters on the walls behind the sink and the trash can. Also, all of the drains ran very slowly.

Check-in: Door code provided did not work, had to call assistance who opened remotely. Key safe ok, but card provided did not work on our door. Called assistane on our (German) mobile - waiting time to get a real person on the phone, promised to provide correct card and opened our door remotely. (Thirsty) husband then had to stay in while I bought some beverages in a nearby supermarket. Still no correct card... After some more waiting, called again on our mobile and finally a young lady came around giving us the correct card and helped us with the WiFi (wrong code provided). For a professional renting team, such a performance is poor, especially since other customers have had the same experience! Shower: This is a high pressure rain forest shower - far from ideal for ladies trying to wash their hair! You get blinded in the process and groping for a towel is more than difficult - fortunately, my husband was around to hand me one... Windows/blinds: Since this is an old building, the windows are very tall, so are the blinds obviously. The blind on one window would open but not the window itself - for the other one, it was the other way round. We didn't mention it at the time as we only stayed one night but surely a professional team should be aware of such things and put them right? Lift: Is tiny, just 1 person with baggage at a time but, ok, it's an old building refurbished, so not a big issue.

The location is brilliant, in the middle of everything. The studio flat was surprisingly spacious, kitchenette well equipped. Huge and comfortable bed.

Shower cubical needs updating, some things had been overlooked with regards to the cleaning. Other guests were noisy. Slamming doors, talking on phones...

Location, although it is by the river but you don't have a river view as you are too high up! Comfy bed.
