Views were stunning, could of frankly thought it was southern France. Staff excellent. Offerings first class.

We did not get a view of the sea as expected. Our room faced a sidewalk and overlooked a wall and an apartment. We asked to be moved; however, the hotel was full. On the second night of our stay, we were relocated to a room overlooking the High Street.

We loved the ambience of the hotel. Dining room, bar and terrace lively. Both breakfast and dinner were very good. Bed was comfortable, bathrooms very well appointed.

Car parking facilities were atrocious. Never felt the car was in a suitable spot. Afraid to move it for a trip in case we couldn’t get back in. Don’t have a solution due to the limited space available.

Difficult to work out where things were in the hotel. Slow to fix lights in bathroom when they went wrong …. Bathroom looking tired …. Quite a small room for the the standard of hotel compared to other harbour hotel visited only 1 chair for a couple for drinking the gin and enjoying view

Fabulous location amazing views could sit and watch forever the changing scene . The staff were very helpful. The food was great and very helpful around allergies. Parking really creative. Staff very attentive and regularly seen helping less able guests as needed. Complementary gin great along with the ice deliveries in the evening.

Room was very hot, even with the window open, would have expected air con . Although extremely comfortable , at this price, we felt the room was small in comparison to other similarly priced hotels . One male staff member was a little sanctimonious. The food is lovely, but expect deep pockets Having said the above, we would return .

Spectacular location, right on the estuary and with sea views . Food was fantastic . Parking is available on site at a small cost . Easy access to the small town of Salcombe and other hidden coves and beautiful coastline . Room had complimentary G and Tin the room - nice touch. Large bed , tea and coffee making , robes, hairdryer and toiletries , we didn’t use the spa, but it looked very lovely . We enjoyed our one night .

Parking difficult but easy to leave keys with concierge to park. Lovely and comfortable room but above front entrance so noisy at times.

The small table (cheap & nasty) on the 4 th floor balcony was absolutely full with rain water. couldnt empty it on the balcony - would have filtered down through. Partner steadily carried it to the bathroom. It was heavy! All the top floor balcony tables were the same style! But not the rest of the balcony tables on the floors below. Their tables were "flat"! Needs changing.

Loved the view. Sun beds on the balcony wonderful. Breakfast and room service excellent Enjoyed the Gin and slice (delivered by trolley personally - nice touch ). Parking good

No answer from reception multiple times when called from the room for assistance. Could not access Netflix, Prime etc on Smart TV due to signal problems. You would think for price of the room this would be functional.

Beautiful sea view double room. Unexpected chocolates and card and balcony with most amazing views of the harbour made the 30th Birthday celebrations even more special. Very clean throughout.

It had parking and was so near the town and has wonderful views. Bed was so comfortable and staff extremely friendly. Breakfast was also delicious.
