The free parking at the front is tricky to navigate.

The swimming pool is lovely! And the spa. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful, most of them.

Parking can be a little awkward but I didn't have any problems during our 11 night stay. Public parking on the Esplanade is £1.00 from 6pm to 10am.

Lower priced room on the back of the hotel overlooking the High Street - terrible traffic noise with the windows open (so hot they had to be). Car parking facilities inadequate

Car parking is a bit awkward, with other cars boxing you in. We were boxed in the evening before we were due to catch a ferry home and so asked the hotel to ask that guest to move their car, so we could get out and park in an 'open' bay overnight. I have to say, the system worked and the car was moved very quickly, but for the system to work perfectly, every guest would have to let reception know where they would be every minute of the day! The other disappointment was that you couldn't book just breakfast or dinner, but had to book both as a package. We like to vary where we eat.

We didn't want full board as we wanted to sample some of the wonderful eating places around the area. We did plan to have a few evening meals in the hotel and a few breakfasts but when we tried to book for our 37th anniversary we where informed that if we didn't take the offer that was on of breakfast and evening meal every day then we would not be able to eat in the hotel. This seems such a mean and foolish rule as the hotel must be loosing out on many people who, like us, would have eaten in on a number of occasions. Also we found out that tea and coffee was not included in the breakfast which is something we have never heard of before. These rules dampened our stay.

The room was perfect and the sea view was stunning. It was a little bit awkward when someone was on the balcony next to ours as all that separated it was a plastic chain so you had no privacy at all. The bathroom and shower was really spacious and powerful.

Hotel was old and tired but clean. There was no water in the jacuzzi and the swimming pool wasn't very warm

Noisy room led to some disturbances. Also would have preferred a later breakfast since the scheduled time was too early for a vacation stay. Beach facing rooms were booked which is understandable considering long weekend

The room was good but right next to the stairs which made it quite noisy. When requested to change the room, we were told that others might be noisier

I would have preferred it if the bathroom had been cleaned on day 2 of our stay, clean towels had been provided and the beds had been made. Also my son is in a wheelchair and it was very difficult to get him over the threshold at the back door.

Hi lm Mr Darnton & family stayed with you at end of August 2023....l was taken ill at the hotel & can only thank all the team for looking after Wife & son while in Newport Hospital. I nearly died & was Airlifted by Helicopter to Southampton. Since I've had second heart operation & been in 3 Hospitals over 5 months,& having had a stroke. I only discharged last weds....having made a remarkable Recovery,& from all the family & me Heart ❤️ felt thanks.....& we will definitely return For hopefully a Less eventful stay....bless you all 🙏

The whole beachfront is lacking investment and many of the hotels are derelict so sad to see.

Room - really nice, large sized room + balcony Cleanliness - excellent Soundproofing - great Swimming pool + jacuzzi - Jacuzzi was the perfect temperature and not too small Location - right on the beachfront, close to the pier. Breakfast + Dinner - good quality and value for money. Staff are excellent - a lovely stay, we will be back.

Everything, we go to the Sandringham Hotel each year and have never had any complaints, everything is as expected, rooms clean and very comfortable, staff polite and helpful and food very good. No complaints to make, more than happy.
