Sarum College is a really lovely place to stay. It was a privilege to be within the Cathedral close. A small, clean and simple room with a very comfortable bed and lovely white fluffy towels. Excellent hot shower. Breakfast was everything you could want, cooked and continental in a lovely light filled dining room.

I liked it all. But if you can't stand the noises of an old house like creaking floors and doors, it is not the placefor you.

I loved the peace and atmosphere of the house. The location right beside the cathedral is lovely.

Only downside was ancient wavy wooden floor in our bedroom, which was a bit difficult for my disabled wife to navigate. Oh, the shower arrangement was a bit primitive in our room.

Location in Close is great. Our room had good view of cathedral. Lift in old building was a nice surprise. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Plenty of parking space during our trip. Self service breakfast was ample and well cooked.

The location is sublime. Step out the front door of the College and the Cathedral is right there. I can't imagine a more beautiful location. I had a single and the room was basic and plain (but quite spacious) and the price was a bargain. The breakfast was tasty and solid. I was very glad to have chosen to stay here.

Strip light over wash basin did not work. Window very difficult to close and would slip open. Bed covering rather sparse. Shared toilet and bath room but these worked well.

Kettle had a wild amount of limescale inside! But everything else was great.

Peaceful atmosphere. Good security. Nice night staff. Amazing location. Bed was solid, which I find comfy. Water pressure in showers was pretty good. Breakfast delicious!

I have stayed here four times and normally there is nothing wrong. The last room we had a window which did not close so it was cold. The breakfast is lovely but it is at specific time and limited and you had to check out by 9.30 am I think. There is also no TV (as expected but not a problem) so you will have to bring a laptop our room had a shower that dripped throughout the time we stayed there.

The breakfast was very good, tea facilities in the rooms, friendly staff, good parking, clean and tidy.

Excellent location next door to catherderal, comfortable residential college, breakfast was great, excellent parking facilites staff helpful. Ample resturants and pubs for meals in walking distance.

The bed was a bit hard for me, but other than this it was perfect.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet right in the centre of the city with parking. Warm and friendly greeting, relaxed atmosphere, all the facilities we needed plus great breakfast.

Would have liked a mirror in the bedroom, only had one in the bathroom. Bed was really soft if you like that type of comfort.

Staff were really friendly, couldn't do enough, as they were quiet they let us have an early and late check in/out and we could even use the facilities ie toilets after we had checked out. There is car parking available as only one small course being held that weekend. Lovely big room, a bit cold but a portable oil heater was provided as well so this soon made the rook warm. Breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and cold options.
