Everything you could need was there.the cream tea topped it off after a 4hr train journey there,so we plonked ourselves on the settee and enjoyed it.owners went all out to help you feel welcomed.my mother wants to go back next year,even though her walking is not very good and with the bus stops just outside it was convenient for her.we had a lovely week stay

Just don’t expect to be near a sandy beach. The name of the property and the ‘stone’s throw’ are a bit misleading, if that is important to you.

The little house is lovely, everything nice, comfortable, well-equipped. Wasn’t expecting the delicious cream tea. Very pleased, the best of seven places I stayed on this trip.

It was not easy to walk into either Teignmouth or Dawlish, steep and quite far

Lovely bright studio, spotlessly clean Cream tea in the fridge for me Owner popped to see me in the evening, offering more clean towels Nice little beach down a footpath very close

No hob or oven but is to be expected with the size of the place

Really nice little flat at a perfect location right by the beach, clean and came with everything we needed. Owner was really polite and even rescued our towels after leaving them out in the rain. 100% will stay again.

It was lovely & cosy. Nice & warm with the fire heater. Bed really comfy & a nice 2 seater sofa to relax on in evening.

The accommodation was a bit cold and I would have preferred it a bit warmer.

It was lovely to be greeted by a cheerful hostess when we arrived and she treated us to a lovely cream tea. The accommodation was very clean and it's location is perfect.

A sofa or soft chairs would have been nice. A sign on the gate would be useful.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Studio! We can’t wait to return. It was perfect from the moment we arrived. Donna greeted us and showed us the key had been left in the door and that she had very kindly left a cream tea for us in the fridge. This was such a welcome treat after our journey. We unpacked and let our doggies in and enjoyed our cream tea alongside a great choice of teas and coffees available. The Studio is beautifully decorated with a modern and clean feel. Donna has thought of everything to make your stay as convenient as possible. I had forgotten my phone charger plug and the lamp had USB ports, so allowed me to charge my phone. Donna has carefully created her own guidebook with great recommendations about local places to visit or eat. We loved the decor and thought the picture of nearby Holcombe beach was a great connection to the local landscape. There is everything you could wish for with a great selection of books including history of local stories and things to do around the area. A great choice to relax with, I sat out on the patio table with a coffee and read through a couple of books. There were also very thoughtful comforts provided such as hand creams and pillow spray to make your stay extra special. The bed was very comfy and we had such a relaxing stay. Donna is very knowledgable and approachable. She was on hand to ask for advice and tips, and was very responsive providing great recommendations. We look forward to future super comfy and enjoyable stays in The Studio! A huge thank you Donna for such a relaxing and refreshing stay by the sea and allowing us to stay in The Beautiful Studio in your lovely garden ☺️🤩

We stayed one night, and the room was comfortable enough. Could of had a couch . We enjoyed walking to Tainmouth along the beach. We also went to Smugglers Inn for a fantastic carvery.

I didn't know there wasn't going to be a stove, but it really didn't matter as I microwaved my dinner.

The blinds were a bit dusty and maybe there could of been a small table for eating at inside the apartment, we were lucky with the weather.

Everything was more than we expected, attention to detail was excellent, location and views were exceptional and a short distance from everything, nothing was too much of a ask, the homemade scones were a lovely touch, we will definitely be coming back

Everything. A lovely couple who run it. Very welcoming and after a long drive milk in the fridge for a cup of tea and wonderful scones cream and jam. Delicious 😋
