We slept in a comfortable bed in a cool and peaceful room. The bathroom was also spot on. Jayne, the landlady, was kind and helpful.

Not very much parking outside property but plenty in the surrounding area. Nothing really very much to complain about considering the service received and price of room.

After a longer-than-expected ferry journey, we weary travellers returned late, to a very warm welcome. Jane, with her friendly smile, even carried some bags upstairs for me whilst husband parked the car. Milk provided for a cuppa in our room. Lovely Grenola with yogurt starter, fruit juice, full English breakfast and more, if required , according to invididual needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our freshly cooked breakfast.

Nice views of the sea & ferry harbour from the top room. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Lovely bathroom with space to put your sponge bag down, which is rare!

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean house within minutes by car to Harwich port (very convenient). Hostess very welcoming and considerate of our needs.. We thoroughly recommend this B and B.

We loved our stay here, the host was warm, friendly and very welcoming 😍 The room was gorgeous and the attention to detail to accentuate a better stay ie binoculars, books on the local area to fluffy bath robes 🤩 The breakfast was delicious too 😋

If I had to split hairs, too many stairs to top room but that's really being picky

One of the nicest B & B's we have ever stayed in. I cannot fault anything with this wonderful place. Jayne and Mark were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable clean room with fantastic shower and spotless en-suite. Perfect views, quiet night with no disturbance Will certainly be back. Thankyou

The only comment is that for me personally I would like a choice of juice as I can’t drink orange juice but that is being picky.

The breakfast was English, not our favorite, but very wel provided and set-up. We liked to stay until the last check-out time 10 am. But we were asked to leave a bit earlier, because of their planning of cleaning and guests.

The room felt like a combination of home and a hotelroom.

Really Nothing

We were absolutely stunned by the perfection of the room. Clearly its quality level far exceeds its price range. It almost felt as coming home. We saw this as a simple solution to sleep before catching the ferry, but we already decided to return and stay a couple of days more. I really would recommend.

The hosts were very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. The bathroom looked brand new and was very well appointed, with toiletries, bathrobes, flip flops etc. The twin beds were comfortable and the bedroom had plenty by way of tea and coffee making facilities. Thoughtful touches included a clothes brush and a shoe horn - that was a first.

Location of place near to seafront, old town and new town, all in walkable distance. Clean large size rooms, comfortable beds. Jayne was absolutely brilliant in looking after us during our stay and breakfast excellent 👌
