Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe flat's location is excellent and the view of the seafront is fantastic. We had mixed weather for our stay but it really does help on rainy days when you have plenty of space and a great view to look out at.

United KingdomFor 4 friends that meet up once or twice a year the bed situation was not great . When you are in your 60s you don’t want to be crawling down the bed to get out in the middle of the night. Also the second rooms bed was too small for 2 people but we couldn’t see any spare bedding for someone to sleep on the couch so that was awkward. The rest of the flat was great only the bedrooms let it down.
The views were amazing so close to the sea.

United KingdomBreath taking views, well furnished, and child friendly. We had a 10 month old with us, and it was safe for him to play around in the living room because all the furniture is baby friendly with no Sharpe edges on the table or chairs. There is a book rack full of books if you are a reader. When we arrived, there was a one pint semi skimmed milk in the fridge, which was great because we could feed our baby staright away. There was tea, coffee, and sugar as well as some biscoff biscuits in the kitchen so you could have a beverage when you arrived. The apartment has everything that you could possibly need, including a travel cot, a hair dryer, a clothes rack, ironing board, cutlery, pans, cooking set, plates, cups even salt and vinegar for your fish and chips. Beach is just across the road, and there are a few different eating/entertainment places about 3 mins away. There is an indian restaurant downstairs and next to it is a fish and chips restaurant. Overall, it was a great experience to stay in this apartment. I will definitely book again.

United KingdomQuality of finish overall was a little rough around the edges for the price. Brown carpet throughout was not very appealing. Onstreet parking is as a bit hit and miss depending on time of day.
Fabulous see view. Spacious Well positioned for beach and town. Raymond the host was excellent and very helpful. A WiFi issue was quickly resolved.

VietnamNothing, it was perfect.
I loved this place! I was here for a week. It seems extravagant for just one person, but I needed somewhere to stay while visiting family in the region and was lucky enough to see this just as it appeared on booking.com with a discount for the first bookings. The flat itself is lovely - it's brand new, everything has been considered in terms of comfort and practicality. Decor is modern and neutral, there are 2 good sized double bedrooms and the living space is also easily big enough for a family or group. But the best thing about this is the view. It's spectacular - the photos don't do it justice, they don't show exactly how close you are to the sea. It's very close to the town centre, to transport links and supermarkets and there are lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk - including an excellent Indian restaurant downstairs. I will definitely consider this place for future visits to the area. (I would like to live here)

IndiaHost could have been accomodative, when property was available for the new date, called the host but he did not agree. So I paid the full amount and I did not stay there. So I can rate the experience except my interaction with the host.
