Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe accommodation was lacking in the kitchen aspect with there being the bare minimum of mugs or cutlery. The website has various options ticked however upon enquiring and arriving we discovered that they were not available or never would have been i.e. BBQ facilities or vending machines. When enquiring ahead of booking about anything to do with our stay the host were very short and blunt in there responses and at times quite rude. The Wi-Fi unfortunately was not working when we were there for our entire stay which again I found the hosts to be lacking in basic customer service when contacted. All in all it was not worth the £90 per night we paid.
The location for small young families is great with big park and playing field’s literally a few minutes walk from the house.

RomaniaThe garden could use a sunbed or a swing (it's a big green yard and it's a pity you can't stay more outside and enjoy the fresh air), the door to access the yard should be repaired, it doesn't smell very good when you enter the house (i'm guessing it's because of the rug, so it should be ventilated more often).
It was close to our places of interest, it had a park nearby, big yard.

United KingdomNoisy neighbours - being a semi-detached house, on 1 night it was very noisy, as next doors TV was exceptionally load when sleeping upstairs. Could have vacuumed the carpets, as dirt on the floors. Outside, parking the car, the pavement was very muddy, so I was constantly bringing in mud, so had to wipe shoes constantly, not dragging in mud into the house. even though house seemed clean, there were cobwebs everywhere, in corners, on ceiling. Just needed a deep clean.
All rooms were as shown on photos. Space, I had enough room to work and exercise too. Tea, coffee and sugar was available. Bathroom was clean, and kitchen.

The property is in a nice quiet road with hardly any external noise. The location was perfect for our needs - a concert at St Helen's Rugby Club which was about a 30 min walk. Driving into the city centre was easy. Overall a good base for our needs.

United KingdomIt smelt of wet dog. It was not cleaned. Grass in porch and in the kitchen when arrived. I had to clean every were when I arrived as it was full of dust, cup rings, fridge dirty, everything was disgusting. No tea towel or hand towels just paper towels. The kitchen floor has ingrained dirt in it, it needs scrubbing. One tea spoon, dirty cups, hardly any cutlery, dirty oven door. In the cupboard was a mop full of dirty water with a mop in it. The back bedroom near the window smelt of pee.
Nice neighbour. Quiet neighbourhood.
