I was worried about having to change the gas cylinder despite the step by step instructions- more about my confidence in a caravan than the property.

The only thing that we have to complain about is that because the caravan is located so close to the main road it is really noisy at night when any cars come past.

Some plates had a greasy substance on them but wasn’t a big deal as I cleaned them

How big it was and how it was cozy to fit my family. General cleanliness was good throughout the lodge and it was continuously warm I never felt a shiver I also like the fact that dogs were allowed as it made it a lot easier on me

The busy road is noisy and is especially noticeable when you are in the rear bedroom Ear plugs are supplied.

You can't do anything about the road noise or probably the lack of wiFi working. I did mention to Carol about the lack of bowls in the kitchen and could also do with carving fork, slotted spoon and serrated knife for cutting, say tomatoes and she is addressing this point

In terms of the property we loved it. More the area was very quiet, not lots to do in walking distance we had to drive to locations. No where local for a dog walk all paths very thin and not able to walk dogs on the ground.

Loved the little fireplace, how modern the caravan was, the lovely furniture inside. How spacious it was for what we required it. The little balcony at the front and the bigger one at the entrance.

Only a few minor things: a bit noisy at night cos of the main road nearby, bed quite uncomfortable (very soft and bouncy!), Wi-Fi very weak…

Overall great place near the Lake District, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Dogs are allowed so this is definitely a plus. Clear instructions from the owners, good communication.

This was one of the best holidays we ever had! We LOOOOOOVVVVEEEED absolutely everything about our stay at Serendipity. First of all, Carol kindly allowed us to check in early. We were driving for nearly 6 hours, from early morning, and needed to rest. We truly appreciated this. Secondly, as we entered the caravan, we felt immediately at home. It is very tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and very very very cosy. It was full of special touches, such as coasters spread around the house, a candle, a dishwasher liquid, salt, pepper etc. We felt truly loved and taken care of. Thirdly, it is very conveniently located to everything we needed. Try local Aldi, especially their truly delicious exclusive wine selection 😊. We stayed at this amazing place for 7 days. This was one of the very rare occasions where we wanted to stay for another week. Carol was an exceptional host, getting back to me so quickly with all the answers to my questions. We loved the area. It is simply stunning. Very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t even lock the doors – we felt very safe there. All neighbours were very friendly and considerate. There is a playground and it is also dog friendly. Our little Chihuahua Millie enjoyed saying hello to other dogs, from the balcony. The master bedroom is enormous, with almost a walk-in closet! All is new and beautify. We loved the sitting room with a selection of really good DVDs. We enjoyed watching films together in the evening. A tip – don’t forget to switch on the fireplace in the evenings, we worked out that it’s a fireplace (not a decoration panel) only on our last evening. Ha-ha))) We still truly enjoyed it. Thank you so much to everyone for creating a truly special and unique holiday for us!

Cleanliness of caravan and location at High Hesket caravan Park, which was lovely, and Phil the friendly and helpful warden. We had a lovely stay at Serendipity and would highly recommend, we would love to come back in the future. 🥰

It was a bit out of the way from anywhere with shops and pubs , but for a relaxing chilled weekend away is perfect

It is a beautiful caravan, lovely furnishings and comfortable bed , showers powerful , everything you could want , iron and ironing board , hairdryer , kitchen well equipped, dog friendly , perfect 😊
