The room is very small and basic however clean and comfortable and for the price in central Covent Garden can’t complain. Didn’t see any other hotels nearby so a good choice to be in walking distance of all the action.

The location was excellent right in the centre of the action in Covent Garden. New the tube 100 yds from the the theatre loads of restaurants nearby. Couldn’t be better

I think the only one that I didn't like is that I wish that the hotel would put an earlier check in time and a later check out time (after 12pm)

Love the coziness of this hotel and it's well equipped with all the bare necessities needed to get a good night in London. The location is very strategic as it's surrounded by a variety of eateries, gift shops and the train tube. Would highly recommend this place for those who wants to stay in a budget, cozy and comfortable hotel!

Always worth taking earplugs and an eye mask when staying in the innercity

On arriving at The Seven Dials, the friendly and professional staff member asked if we would like to be upgraded to a studio apartment 7 mins away! We were so pleased. The apartment was scrupulously clean (my main reason for booking The Seven Dials as our budget accommodation to begin with, as had seen the cleanliness comment on another review). Facilities more than adequate, location central -perfect!

Plugs missing in each room I stayed in recently. I understand the reason why,....so floods causing major damage through accidental taps left on with blocked plug hole,......but very frustrating. Sorry they don't do a limited 'Continental' type breakfast any more. It provided just the right starter to your day of visiting sites.

Very helpful staff on each shift. Bedding and room cleanliness is always fresh and well presented. Extra coffee/tea/milk available on asking.

Could had done with some shower gel in the room. This may have been an oversight and I didn't realise until it was too late. As I was only staying a single night didn't both checking with reception. Also with a basement room, there was a dark service area full of stuff visible next to the lift. It didn't bother me, but could have been hidden behind a curtain or a door. But that is a very minor point. Don't let it put you off. Great room at a great price.

Nice, clean room. Bathrooms in basement rooms are often mouldy. This had a powerful extractor and was well maintained. Bed was comfortable and the fridge was a nice addition. Very happy with my room

    - Expensive! - Room (No 27) view to backyard :D - Windows handle was not working properly, so you have to improvise to open/close the windows. - The shower was old, could be improved.

Location was excellent, very close to the Covent Garden.

Basement room was very hot, although there is ceiling fan which helped cool things down, but that was a little noisy which meant our sleep was sometimes disturbed.

Booked last minute while in London for one night. Room was small but adequate for 2 people. Room and en-suite were very clean and bed was comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities provided and also a small fridge.

I paid about £80 sterling per night, which was good value bearing in mind the location, however it's usual prices are ludicrously high given the small, dated rooms and awkward to navigate corridors. Atrocious sewage snell in hotel, especially rooms, seems to come from sinks and toilets. I notice many have complained about it, in their reviews, even uears ago, but still the snell is persistent in April 2024. I did mention it on arrival but the male receptionist was a bit hostile, saying "really? what doess it snell of!". I could have detailed but decided not to!

Comfy bed, most staff on reception pleasant, room tiny and at top of hotel but working lift, which was spotlessly clean. Location can't be beaten.
