Room was freezing on arrival as radiators not working in room in mid winter. An extra blanket and fan heater was offered but as it was a big room, this was not helpful. Another room was offered when asked but one of the radiators wasn't working either. However with the additional heater supplied, we were warmish.

The bedroom felt a little cramped.

The staff were extremely accommodating and opened the breakfast room early fir us the be at our conference. The omelet was delicious. No comment for 'room' Location meet my needs.

Bedroom floor stained, room too cold or too hot, although the heating had been 'turned off in error' for part of our stay. Shower scale dripping from the shower head - assume the deluxe room not used regularly. All areas need a good redecoration - all a bit untidy and worn looking. This hotel could do really well if it had a restaurant and/or bar, and has the room to do this.

It wasn't that I disliked anything, the room was looking tired in some aspects (stained carpet round waste bin) but the owners are working on a referb and I'm sure they will all be great looking soon.

There was a warm welcome when we arrived showing us all the facilities on offer. The breakfast room was available too use all day if you wanted to eat your own food there. A comfortable lounge with tea and coffee available. The location was great for the theatres, seafront and town. Car park was available but it could be tight squeeze when busy. Our room was a good size with comfy beds and a small sofa for relaxing.

It’s a bit ‘faded’ but in some ways that added to the charm

An old fashioned B&B in a lovely area. It was everything we needed, clean and quiet. It had off-street parking as a bonus and the resident dog is a delight

We stayed in Room 15, listed as a Deluxe Suite. Whilst there is a separate toilet with door, it was unusual to have the bath/shower area in the room without any privacy. This might put some guests off and should be highlighted. It would not be difficult to put up a stud wall with entrance, which would at least provide some privacy.

Good location, private car park (but a very tight entrance), enthusiastic staff and value for money. I would stay again.

The bathroom’s plumbing in my room might need a touch up, flush wasn’t great and the shower blasted either too hot or too cold. But that might’ve been me just not knowing how to work it, I’m sure I could’ve asked.

Really friendly staff, so friendly on arrival, showing the facilities. Lovely doggy C.K. Was great that you could use the dining room for takeaways and to use microwave/fridge. The room was nice and great value for money. Also I had to leave early and the staff kindly made me scrambled eggs before the breakfast started.

The heating in our room was strong enough to heat it. The bathroom was very cold and we didn’t like the shower/ bath being in the bedroom.

Nothing at all really. Perhaps cartons of oat milk at breakfast rather than little sachets? But other than that, it was a lovely stay.

I was welcomed personally by the owners who were so accommodating and friendly. They were very open about only just taking over the B&B and to bear with them if there were any teething problems (which I didn’t experience). Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order, and the price of the whole stay was extremely affordable. If it’s similarly priced next time I’m down in Eastbourne, I’ll be back in a flash!

To be honest there wasn't anything we didn't like, maybe a later checkout but thats a personal preference.

A lovely warm welcome and good communication before our stay. Room was large with a lovely big bed that was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. The bath was lovely and shower good size. Staff friendly and plenty of breakfast options. great location and parking was a huge bonus. thank you for a lovely stay.
