Garden a bit small for a good cricket game!

Wonderful old traditional large farmhouse away from the crowds. Well equipped family kitchen. Play room for children with toys next to kitchen. Grand piano (and television ( for cricket lovers!).). Warm comfortable bedrooms, great baths and showers. Enough space to spread out but come together in large kitchen for food. Owners so easy to contact by phone or email and very very helpful. Magical, could not recommend enough.

We loved the house and the peaceful location with gorgeous views. There was plenty of room for the five our us and it was very cozy downstairs. Our little one loved the play room and we really enjoyed the sitting room with the fire at night.

Absolutely wonderful property in a gorgeous area. So much space even for a party of 6 adults and 4 children. The play room was a big hit, the kitchen a great hub and a comfortable living room. All in all a superb stay.

Upstairs heating in 2 of the bedrooms were cooler than the rest.

I really don’t think there is anything I didn’t like.

The size of the house was great, it was really well stocked I.e utensils in the kitchen. The beds were really comfy and the house was nice and warm. The owners Sam and Vicky are so lovely and accommodating. Cannot wait to book again!

We struggled to turn the heating down as we got a little too warm at times! But this was by no means an issue. We would definitely stay again.

The house was amazing and had plenty of space for us all. It was kept warm and the location was perfect. Fresh flowers and a gift bag including milk was left for us on arrival which We thought was a lovely touch. There was also a parking disk to park in Northumberland which was great.

Just a few cobwebs here and there but overall very clean.

Location was beautiful, the house was grand and there was more than enough room for us all. Decor was modern yet had character. Little extras were great e.g. coffee machine, goodie bag on arrival, underfloor heating. Enough car parking spaces for 4 cars.

Perfect location to celebrate my 40th birthday with family. Everybody loved the property and location. Every little thing had been thought of, everyone had a wonderful stay, including the children who loved the playroom. Beautiful, peaceful surrounding area with plenty to do nearby. Will definitely return in the future!

Dishwasher was not great and we found some cooking utensils and crockery that were not very clean.

Marvellously rural location with great views but still convenient for Hexham. Large well equipped kitchen and dining area with plenty of space for a large group. Very spacious accommodation, huge number of books and lovely cosy sitting room with a wood burner and a piano. Very spacious master bedroom with walk in dressing room.
