The location was lovely and peaceful with great views of the hills the owners where helpful and just a phone call away if needed the hut was extremely clean and cosy and had everything we needed we enjoyed watching the lambs playing in the field even our dog enjoyed the walks

If I really had to pick something to moan about, it would be that the mattress could be slightly better. Other than that, I can’t think of a single thing.

There was nothing not to like about the property. The hut itself is fully kitted out with everthing you could need - two sinks with hot water. Shower. Toilet. Small camping fridge, double hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. There’s a small heater and a little TV with excellent signal. The location itself is something out of Lord of The Rings and you’d be hard pressed to find anything more joyful than early spring lambs bounding all around you! The hut itself is fenced in which is an absolute god send if you’ve got dogs. Outside has a fire pit and a BBQ. There’s chairs available if needed. Barmouth beach is just a 20 minute drive. Honestly, there’s nothing about this little Welsh gem that I don’t love.

Don't forget to take fire lighters and kindling for the brazier. Sometimes properties provide some tea, coffee especially if remote which whilst not a necessity is nice. the very soft mattress might not suit everyone but actually had a great night's sleep.

Location is fantastic. Property is isolated from any other property and superb views across the estuary and towards the mountains. Just you and the sheep. Had access to bbq and brazier. Really good shower, much appreciated. Owner, Sion, was very friendly and helpful.

The mattress could be better as was too “soft” and springy. When sat on, you could feel the base but it didn’t interrupt our sleep and wouldn’t put us off returning!

Beautiful! We arrived at night and was quite easy to find via the instructions from the host. The hut was clean, cosy and comfortable. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful view and sheep all around the hut which was really nice. Would recommend this hut for those that love being in the middle of nowhere but also like to be close to shops/pubs etc as Dolgellau was a 4 minute drive away!

If pushed to be at all critical of any minor thing, it would be the size of the fridge. A little too small.

Absolutely lovely stay. Very secluded, which is what we wanted. Hut was immaculate. Weather for the time of year was exceptional. Views from the hut were amazing. Was made to feel any need would be catered for, but was left to enjoy our holiday. Which was perfect for us. We will definitely be returning.

Nothing! Everything was truly lovely

This hut was exactly as described. It is in the most perfect location. We sat outside eating breakfast and supper with the most incredible views you could imagine. Our dog was safely contained and happy. The facilities were great. One of our loveliest stays in this country. Wonderful. Met the owner who was really friendly.

The place was really well equipped and everything was excellent quality. The only thing that could have been better was the fridge. It was a decent size for a camping fridge but wasn't hugely cold. Not sure if you could fit a proper fridge in there but considering all the other facilities were so good it was the only thing that made it feel like you weren't in an actual house.

The place was so perfect for a few days away. The views were stunning, the little paddock was really secure so we could let our dog chill outside whilst we had a bbq. The hut was so well equipped, from a hot shower to all the cutlery we needed. Even had camping chairs under the bed so we could sit out in the evenings. We had a great night sleep both nights and loved exploring the area. Right on the doorstep of the loop so we did some hikes and managed to see some jets. We will be back!

Everything was perfect. The owners instructions where very helpful in finding the property. Except we couldn’t use the road they suggested as there were roadworks and it was shut. A small notice of some sort on the gate would have helped as we approached from a different direction. Otherwise no issues at all
