Looks a bit dated but our room was lovely clean and fresh. Breakfast was ok self service and a good choice. Lots of steps to our room. No parking at the hotel.

Nice location in pretty small town.

Food unfortunately didn't match up to the advertising pictures!! Don't sell the hotel as we would like to come back! And it would be damaging to the trade of St Maws!

Brilliant location, very kind friendly & helpful especially Bernie, Simon & Cassey. Liked the way the hotel was very dog friendly, our pooched loved it!

Shame that there's no free hotel parking but that's not uncommon although a public car park opposite. Due to the bar not being busy on our visit it's discretionary how long it stays open.

Excellent location, very friendly staff and decent breakfast.

Decor is a bit old, windows were not very clean. Breakfast is a bit limited. Bar only open for short time each day.

Room was large and with a great sea view. Staff were helpful. The hotel is right in the middle of the town so very convenient.

Struggled to open the window to get some fresh air. There was no fire escape plan pinned to the back of the door in my room, I asked for one, but it did not arrive.

Location was a big plus. Staff were very helpful.

The only thing I disliked was that we did not know beforehand that the hotel was not serving food due to no chef & a couple other hotels where the same so not many places to go for dinner.

I loved the location absolutely stunning sights, surrounded by the sea & lots of great walks. Would be incredible in the summer time. Good price for 1 night stay.

Shower was almost unusable due to the crazy low pressure! Acceptable if only staying for one night but unacceptable if staying for a 4-night walking break during a very cold and wet Easter holiday when a hot shower is needed EVERY night!

    Cheap and cheerful. Dog friendly.

The girl on reception was wrong on a number of occasions as to what we had booked and paid for, which made for a poor impression on arrival, after a long journey. She also forgot to send up extra blankets, on a subsequent day. A senior manager had to correct her errors, and initially she had been abrupt and argumentative, despite being wrong, and thereafter allowed other members of staff to apologise for her failings rather than do it herself.

Rooms were comfortable enough with a good view of the harbour. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable but an extra to the basic cost.

The photos are a bit mis leading. The rooms are very small, tired and noisy. The sink was cracked, ceiling had white paint patches all over and the carpets were dirty.

The location is amazing. It’s facing the harbour of St Mawes and is really central!
