Excellent hospitality- the lovely host even offered to dry our wet washing from our last nights stay. We enjoyed the evening meal in the pub and joined the locals with a trivial night of fun - highly recommended

The only thing I didn't like was the overpowering smell of artificial 'fragrance' in the room. I had to leave to door and windows open for a couple of hours, even then it didn't disappear entirely. I suggest you ask the cleaner to go easy on the spray or, ideally, stop using those chemical 'fragrances' entirely.

The room was modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Good qualtity sheets, towels etc were provided. The wifi worked well. Other facilities were all as described. The staff were friendly and professional. The attached pub has a nice atmosphere and serves good food. The location is great for walks along the canal and nearby countryside.

We arrived after a walk, the room was ready earlier than we were expected, clean and well appointed. We had an amazing lunch, highly recommend the rustic lunch, great value for money, and absolutely delicious. We also had dinner, again, amazing food, and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. We will revisit!

The location suited my purposes. The staff were friendly, helpful, efficient. comfy room, good shower, good bed. Good meal- steak night- unbeatable value, nicely cooked, decent wine. Generally very pleased- best I've found in the Leicester area.

The Internet was very slow and, at times, intermittent.

The room was spacious and very clean. There was a kettle, little refrigerator, and hairdryer provided. Coffee and tea were available. TV but no microwave. The owners were fabulous. Meals were very tasty, and plenty of chips to go round. Location of the Inn is off the main road. There is a large parking area and a large garden for summer to enjoy drink or food in the summer. Will definitely be back.

Very hot in the room , 23 deg , couldn't work out how to reduce the temperature .

Quiet location , independent stay as rooms separated from pub access with external door to car park easy for transferring luggage. Good wifi . Good tea and coffee making facilities. Excellent shower. Comfortable bed . Met my needs

Absolutely nothing!

The dinner and full breakfast were both delicious and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed - even a mini fridge! We would not hesitate to recommend this pub/hotel and look forward to returning sometime.
