Lovely property in a beautiful area just north of Portree. It was a really quiet location which was great. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would be happy to return another time.

Great location. 10 min to Portree, 20 to Dunvegan. Beautiful views from the patio over the valley and a small lake. Amazing stars at night. Hearty breakfast. I highly recommend Skeabostview B&B to anyone who is exploring Skye or just wants to get away from the big city! The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel.

Hamish and Josephine are terrific hosts and delightful. We had a twin room which was small but well appointed and very clean. The bathroom is tiny in that room but had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was substantial and a surprise. The loch view was lovely and I would stay there again.

As I mentioned to the host during our stay, the property should be advertised with 'light continental breakfast' rather than 'no breakfast' as this could deter guests from booking. Toast, yoghurt, fruit, cheese and ham were available, and more than adequate.

The hosts are very friendly and willing to recommend and book evening meals as we found it very difficult to find anywhere to eat (recommend booking before you arrive). The setting is beautiful. The breakfast room is also a lounge for guests and, as we were travelling with friends, this was useful for socialising in the evening.

Cleaning while we are staying there we had to clean our own rooms probably this is how b&b works as we assumed we booked it from booking.com so it would be like normal hotel

The host he is an amazing person very friendly and he guided us for the landmarks and we really enjoyed it I would highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone value for money

Only minor thing was it’s a 15-20 minute drive to nearest places for lunch/dinner.

Beautiful view, out in “real” Skye while having your own room/bath/breakfast. Hammish and his wife have a beautiful well kept modern house which is very pleasant to be at.

Hosts Hamish and Josephine were fantastic. Sitting room was comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was generous and very good. Recommendations for dining and activities were excellent. It’s also dark enough outside at night to see so many beautiful stars! Location was central to places we wanted to visit.

Skeabostview B&B is a little gem with a beautiful view, a hearty welcome from Hamish and Josephine and as clean, comfy and lovingly designed as you could wish for. The pretty feminine touches from Josephine give a gentle feeling to Skeabostview, while the comfortable beds, superb showers and generous continental breakfasts all hit the weary traveller's spot. To sip a whisky overlooking the view from the lounge at sunset is what the Isle of Skye is all about!

There wasn’t a thing to complain about, the property was perfect for our stay and very reasonably priced.

The location is perfect for venturing to the different sections of the island. You are centrally located and just a short ten minute drive into Portree for dinner. The couple that runs the B&B is lovely and they keep a very clean and efficient place. Gorgeous sweeping views of the area and very comfortable and clean rooms.
