Whilst it really didn't bother us, and is to be expected when you're staying above a pub, the bins being moved and banged about in the pub garden the next morning woke us up.... we were having a lovely lie in though so as I say, it didn't bother us but thought it worth mentioning so as not to be a surprise for future guests.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and size of the room. Being above a pub you can never be sure what you're going to arrive to. We were in a room with a double and a single bed but there was still plenty of room to walk around. There was a fan in the room which was perfect as it was a little warm in the room. The staff were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and approachable they actually asked if they could help to make recommendations for local pubs / places to visit, or if there was anything else we needed. I asked for extra tea and coffee supplies and they provided me with them immediately. They couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome.

Good location for central Sheffield and close to Kelham Island Quarter. Great pub below, particularly if you’re a beer fan, and very friendly staff. Rooms freshly decorated.

Easier access to the city centre and Kelham island only a short walk away. In terms of parking, the NCP they recommended is quite expensive however there is one near the storage centre (google maps) which was only £6 for 24hrs

Quite steep stairs up to our accommodation but as this was an old building it was expected.

Friendly professional staff. Exceptionally clean accommodation. No breakfast option but this wasn’t expected as the accommodation price reflected this. Great location for 10 minute walk to Memorial Hall and concert which we attended.

My only qualm was the only room available had a single bed, but as my booking was last-minute I can't complain.

I was able to make a fairly last-minute booking, and was able to pay at upon arrival. Whilst the location was about 20 minutes from the city centre, this meant that the street the pub is located on was very quiet and therefore peacful.

I couldn't actually make the booking as I fell ill on the day, but the staff were brilliant in dealing with me and offered me a free refund. Next time I'm in Sheffield I'll definitely drop in to say thank you in person.

Staircase to access rooms are narrow - can be a challenge if carrying large sized luggage.

The room and bathroom are good-sized and clean. Bed is comfortable. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Power point conveniently located next to bed side table. Moors and Coach Station are 15 to 20 minutes walk away.

In room 7 on top floor, internet/WiFi non-existent for us. TV could be in a better position, almost impossible to sit comfortably and watch.

Location in a quiet back street near the city centre. With a bar downstairs and a road outside we expected some noise but even at the weekend the room was very quiet. The room was well set up with a comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Access was the easiest it could be although there was a short flight of stairs to climb. There is a coffee shop opposite.

The only two down sides were the cost and the bed. The rest was absolutely great. For £100 for one night I would have expected a bed that was less flimsy and didn't cause back ache.

Minor issues in room. Fixed bracket TV on wall made it difficult to view from different angles. Short lead for kettle which was stretched to socket. Brought to attention of the manager.

Great location. Fantastic little bar downstairs. Really good selection of beers with a diverse mix of locals and tourists. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic host.
