Would have been nice to have some basic breakfast at least, maybe some toast, tea and coffee. A bit overpriced for what you get but the staff were reasonably helpful and would most probably stay again because of the location.

Good location, comfortable enough bed. OK staff and communal area ,liked the view to the sea.

Just the fact that it was above a pub, so it was a little noisy till late.

Good location, very near to the main attractions! Friendly staff. Booked the family room, it was well equipped with kettle, cups and coffee sachets. (Ps: could’ve done with milk/creamer sachets aswell)

Altough the location itself is good the hostel is located on top of a very loud club, so especially at the weekend you don’t get much sleep. (But I think that was written in the hostel description, I would recommend ear plugs like I had) When I first arrived there was a guy just passed out on the reception sofa (probably high) and the receptionist just didn’t mind. The whole place kind of smelled like a public bathroom. You have to make your own bed, which I didn’t mind, but it’s not standard from my experience. The bathroom in each room is quite small. You don’t get any storage space like a locker or something. You don’t get a towel.

The location is good, very close to the sea. The receptionist waited for me even though I arrived at a very late time.

If you're one who plans on turning in early/you want a quiet night sleep (which I was looking for on this specific stay), I would recommend somewhere else. The proximity to nightlife does not make for a quiet setting.

The location is hard to beat. The Brighton beach inn is practically across the street from the shore and close to a lot of restaurants, bars/clubs and a sizable parking garage. The three bed room was also fairly nice. Clean private bathroom and an power outlet and reading light on each bunk was a nice touch.

I was woken up by outside noise about 8am but the hostel is based on a main road. The foot of my bed had a hard wooden surround which was covered by a duvet and I ended up knocking into it and bruising my leg. Also, the shower cubicle had a shower curtain so the bathroom floor was wet after my shower.

This hostel is a 10 minute walk from Brighton train station and is based in the centre of Brighton. The receptionist was very pleasant when checking me in and he even showed me to my bedroom. When I queried the 10am check-out time, he advised me that I could check out by midday due to having a private room, what a relief!

There is a bar that blasted really loud music right under the hostel but they did warn us of that. And the mattress was really thin so it was kind of hard to sleep on

The room and the bathrooms were very nice and the staff was really helpful

The room I stayed in was disgusting (shaved hairs all over the sink, a moldy piece of bread at the end of my bunk bed), and the description of "above a night club" understates exactly how loud it is. The music literally shook the room until 3AM. If you're someone looking for the cheapest way to experience Brighton's nightlife until the early hours of the morning, this is the spot for you. For other travelers, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Staff went above and beyond to be helpful, and the parking was MUCH cheaper here than anywhere else in the city (I paid £15).

There was a green light above the door which was so bright and on all the time. I think it may have been an emergency exit door or something but it was awful trying to sleep with it. The room was fine. Incredibly basic and very expensive for what you get but I guess that’s just Brighton prices.

It was clean so I was grateful for that.

I Stayed in the 15 bed hostel room and what I didn't like was the bathrooms which were very dirty and the wifi was always disconnecting and there was a club downstairs which may make it difficult for sleeping for some people.

The location is wonderful for brighton, the staff in reception were amazing and very kind and the people I stayed with in the hostel were very disacrete and friendly, they didn't make any noise but it usually is luck who you stay with.
