To be honest everything was great. Lovely private place.

First time stay in a studio. Was better than we thought it would be. You couldn't fault the place. The hosts couldn't have done anymore. We will definitely be going back in the summer.

Second visit here. Convenient location (if you have a car) with all the things you need. Great little kitchen and breakfast bits provided to make your own. The host was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

Lovely selection supplied for breakfast, and de-caf tea and coffee was excellent to have! The shower took a little bit of figuring out, but no biggy. Lovely to meet the hosts in passing and have a nice chat.

i am sure it was a one off when i visited but it was an Autumn weekend and was cold after dark and their was no gas for the patio heaters but we made the best and it didnt diminish our love for the beautful setup that we did have

Beautiful place with a lovely couple running it, breakfast was continental and provided on day one so you knew what to have and could plan each day , my dogs could roam around the courtyard area and be with us for outdoor evening meals and my family and friends could come visit and have a meal with us which cut down on my travel costs and theirs

The studio is lovely! Well equipped, and comfortable. The items for the continental breakfast were delicious and well thought out. Jill was a delightful host, and left really useful information in the welcome pack about the local area. Also very quiet and peaceful.

There is nothing we didn't like. The only concern (if I had to raise one)if you are someone hot blooded (I'm not but my friend is who stayed with me) is that you can't open a window to let some air in with the exception of the bathroom window. That wasn't a problem for us as we just opened the bathroom window and left the door open but some people might not want to do that. Again not an issue for us and nothing we didn't like.

The room was small but excellently laid out, entrance was secure and in a quiet location with continental style breakfast. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed it all. Really liked that the owner Jill was very friendly and accessible should we need her. Would happily stay again.

The studio was perfect location for the purpose of our visit. When we returned in the evening it was great to shower relax and have a meal, without having to go out searching for good food.(we had prepared our meals prior to going). There was a park at the end of the road take the dog. Everything was provided for tea, coffee, breakfast to make at your leisure, brilliant. The 'host' was very welcoming and helpful with alternative ways to get about so not needing to use the car if we were to visit again. This was a great base for a short break.

Cant’t complain about anything!

We booked the studio as it we were in the area for a wedding. It was such a good price - so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity! Our hosts greeted us on arrival and couldn’t be nicer. The property was clean, spacious and great to have our own space. Was exactly what we wanted, self-contained and so lovely. We had everything we could possibly need for the stay. There was breakfast in the morning which was really nice and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. It’s also a really quiet area which was lovely and was only a 10 min taxi ride to where we needed to be. No doubt quicker if you wanted to get into the centre. I would highly recommend this place and if we ever come to Chesterfield again we know where to look!

We have family in Chesterfield and visit often. This was by far the nicest place we have stayed in. The studio was spotless clean and very comfortable. Lovely hot shower and I can imagine would be very cosy in the winter. We had our little dog with us and the park at the bottom of the road was so handy. Very friendly owners, lovely breakfast hamper left in the studio. We will definitely be back. If I was really critical the only one thing that would be useful would be a little table for your coffee when sitting in the two chairs watching TV but I also appreciate you may not want to clutter the area up too much - perhaps a little table you could fold up and put away. Tv controls were a bit of a challenge! But not a major issue
