We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomRoom was a little dated and unfortunately we were next to the lift which is very noisy. Our daughters room seemed alot nicer but again couldn't agree with the extra cost she'd paid for it
Fantastic time however this may have been contributed by family wedding rather than the hotel itself, ultimately expected alot to reflect the price but again couldn't really take advantage of the facilities due to the family wedding. Probably would have been an excellent hotel if going purely for relaxation.

United KingdomFew bugs/flies (dead) by the window on arrival but expected in a hotel surrounded by woods. No big deal and cleaned it off the window sill.
Beautiful grounds, excellent staff, lovely restaurants. Bedding was very comfortable and the room was nicely spacious. Cottonmill Spa was also exceptional and would highly recommend the treatments.

United KingdomThere was a lot of building works going on at the hotel and the room next to the room I was staying in was been renovated and on Sunday morning there was a lot of noise from the room next to mine which woke me up it was very loud , there was a lot of drilling and banging early Sunday morning, which wasn’t ideal. My room number was 130.

United Kingdomthe fact that the cards where not activated/changed/repaired straight away. that we had to wait 20 mins and i gad to go to reception cold and wet.
The staff were amazing and lovely , it’s just the key card to our door wasn’t working on arrival, was reported but wasn’t rectified straight away as one of the workers let us in after he finished final touches to room, told him we couldn’t get in from outside, he said he would go and sort out cards out straight away, that it would be rectified before we came back from the spa, we were at the spa. When we got back room door card would still not work, mum was standing out side for 15-20mins with wet hair, dressing gown over wet swimming costume, i had to go to reception with the same, mum has a disability too, when she came home she had a flu, temperature…
