Complete refurbishment from my last stay in 2022. But old brown wardrobes and dresser spoil the impression and room very dark with curtains fixed half drawn…bathroom cramped but well done out.

Didn't like it that we were downstairs next to the main door, so couldn't have the window open....got very warm in there, maybe should supply a fan in the room. Shower temperature wasn't good when we used it, but that could be due to other guests using theirs at the same time. Also it's not a four poster bed as shown in pictures.

Loved the Jacuzzi and Spa, breakfast was also very nice.

The cleaning staff were quite loud and noisy. I was trying to sleep post night shift but woke up due to the disturbance. They are probably not used to customers being around during the daytime.

Well sized room with all amenities including a fridge in the room. Very well located if working at Addenbrookes with parking facilities. The proprietor of the hotel is very attentive to your needs and very kind. First hotel where I felt pampered when it came to breakfast.

The hotel was convenient for me that I had to be at the hospital very early in the morning. The staff was nice, they sorted a problem I had. However, the structure was very average

We had a relatively small room which over looked the car park - could hear staff conversations and neighbours even with windows closed- shower not powerful

Everything was excellent and we intend on coming every year 4 wedding anniversary only down side was the shower temperature was extremely difficult to reach and water flow nr non existing

Breakfast was okay, especially the pastries, but I wish there were some fresh vegetables available in addition to the cooked/baked options .

Well furnished, well arranged room with a comfortable bathroom. Good location close to the railway station and city centre, with a bus stop nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Couldn’t find anything disliked but a little bit pricy but on the whole value for money Things are very difficult for pensioners at the moment

Our room was above the restaurant so could here the staff occasionally but to be expected when picking a hotel above a restaurant.

We did pick this hotel because of the restaurant within the hotel and were not disappointed lovely dinner that evening. Breakfast was also delicious, all fresh staff bringing out small portions, so food is not sitting around. Very comfortable bed.

Central location and on site Parking a plus. Pleasant welcome on arrival. Room comfortable, warm and clean - Four poster bed a surprise. Bathroom - very spacious with a jacuzzi bath and a sauna - generous supply of hand and bath towels along with bath robes and slippers too. Breakfast was generous and fair value.

Fresh milk for the tea - there was a fridge in the room so this could have been accomodated. More choice of tea bags - decaff, fruit etc

Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and all self service. Bed was very comfortable in a warm room. The decor is a bit tired but the room had everything i needed for a 1 night stay.

No water provided in rooms and had to pay £4 for one bottle in restaurant. No plug sockets by bed. Bathroom light behind tv which was a little awkward. Room decor was quite dated. Was awoken at 5am by noisy pipes.

Location was good, 30min walk into main town centre. Plenty of parking. Rooms were clean. Bed comfortable.
