The location is great, the bed is very comfortable, the restaurants are nice and not expensive for a 5 star hotel. The view from my room was amazing. Parking was easy . Afternoon Tea was a delight.

The hotel was right at the heart of the boat show marina where we came for. It was literally one step away from the entrance of the marina and we could even see it all from our room window. There was complimentary gin left for us in the room which made the cherry on top. Room was very large, very comfortable great big bed, nice clean bathroom. Restaurant was also great at the ground floor.

Loud kids using the spa as a play ground - jumping in and out of the pool, screaming, and nothing was done about it despite saying something to staff.

Everything was lovely and clean, spa was lovely before the loud kids, and staff were friendly. Food was delicious and had loads of good choices.

Two things I didn’t like about my stay was that there was not enough loungers by the spa/pool area. When we got there around 3pm check in time on a Saturday , the pool area was so full that there was not even enough space to hang your towel or get a place to sit by the pool . Second problem I had was that the breakfast area in the bar was always busy , staff were running around trying to get everyone orders and food served . We stayed there for two nights and the both mornings it look a long time for the waitress to come and order our breakfast. One morning after ordering the food the staff forgot to serve my breakfast!

We got off the plane in London and took a train to Southampton. By the time we got to the hotel, it was 11 a.m. but we'd been up for 26 hours at that point. I was going to throw myself on their mercy and take any room they had available, but our lovely suite was all ready for us! The bed was blissful, and the view was beautiful. We basically slept off our jet leg that day, but the late lunch and breakfast we had there was just lovely, as well.

We experienced rude and unwelcoming staff in the bar when we returned to the hotel late evening. Raised in person with the hotel management on departure.

The parking was chargeable. This is something I’d only expect for budget hotels, or day guests. The amount that the hotel charges for a room should be inclusive of free parking. It was frustrating that I had to do this, especially for a five star hotel. My room keycard took a while to activate which caused me another trip downstairs to reception. This was annoying but I’m pleased the staff were helpful. I found the air con to not be very effective in the room, which was a bit annoying

A very modern hotel, in a nice area with great views. Rooms decorated well, in a modern but beach style. It reminds me of a modern seaside room. The hallways of the rooms were really nice. The bathrooms were very clean, spacious and I also think the floor was heated. The staff were absolutely amazing. One of the receptionists took me to my room and showed me around. I cannot remember his name but he was only 1 month in the role, but seemed like he had been doing it forever.

Unfortunately we only stayed a few hours and had to leave as my son was taken to hospital at 1am in Bath. Missed the spa the breakfast the motor show so was really disheartened at my experience.

It was advertised that there was a free car park but this was chargeable per hour. No option for child’s breakfast so expensive for amount they eat.

Lovely hotel. Staff were very attentive. The rooms were very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast which was very good. We enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi.

It would be great if other adults in the pool are more considerate during this time. Some of the couples (without kids) were not considerate and the splashes and swimming speed caused concern. Perhaps more signage letting them know what time was family time will help. During peak periods the wait to get seated was long even with a confirmed booking. Luckily breakfast was delicious and the staff did their best to make waiting to be seated ok.

The room was really good. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The shower always had hot water and very clean. Oh yea the view into the marina was also nice. The staff were all very polite and helpful, all of them from the reception, concierge, house keeping and restaurant staff did a great job. I also liked that swimming time was set aside for children and families. Awesome location and the proximity parking was welcome (public parking). There is a private cinema with a wide selection of movies (not many people knew this). We will be coming back (very likely without the kids so we can really paint the town red).

Breakfast needs a rethink! It’s too busy, and it’s poor Les’s booking a table as we had to queue for 20 mins for said table, when most in front were walk-ins. Also buffet was hugely understocked. Disappointing. Spa was okay, however the massage was not worth the money. The staff dropped items around us (couples massage), and my masseuse left the room for 5+ minutes. Lastly, the room keys are incredibly temperamental - we had to go to reception 3 times during our stay to have them reset. There must be a simpler and more reliable way of door locks.

The buffet was poor, menu a la carte was good but they charge you £4.50 for a cappuccino cause it’s not included in the breakfast. They only provide black coffee and tea. It’s unacceptable if you already paid £30 per person to have breakfast included in your stay. Also there were a lot of kids running, jumping and diving in the indoor pool making a lot of noise, disturbing the peace of the spa which it meant to be a relaxing place.
