The coffee maker still had left over coffee from the previous occupants of the room, apart from that I enjoyed my stay.

The whole stay was relaxing and comfortable and the room was clean. I was able to communicate with the host well.

The room was a roof conversion, with the result that there were sloping ceilings, which could be awkward for anyone with back trouble. Apart from that, there was nothing not to like about the accommodation.

The room was beautifully appointed, to high quality. The bed was very comfortable. Pam has paid a lot of attention to detail, with excellent tea/coffee making facilities, good quality toiletries, comfortable chairs. Pam was very welcoming and friendly. She also offered helpful information about the town.

Nothing to dislike!

Everything at Southford House was perfect. I had the double room. Parking at the Dartmouth park and ride was no problem, buses very frequent and at £5 for 24 hours very good value. Would recommend staying here.

At the other end of the scale with old and charming are the inconveniaces of climing slopes and steps. That is inevitable.

The beams are low which can make moving around awkward if you're tall. The stairs are steep to the room and no parking, but those are to be expected in Dartmouth. We found parking up the hill eventually.

Very clean comfy family room. Separate room, seating area and bathroom. Lots of lovely little touches like the variety of coffee and teas, plus smellies in the bathroom. The bed was comfy (although a little squeeky). Hostest was very friendly too. Few minute walk and you're in the beautiful town centre. Lots of places for food and drinks and great shopping too. We had a lovely weekend stay celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Nothing! It was all excellent.

Great communications from the start. The location is excellent right in the heart of the town close to all the bars and restaurants, and Pam was an absolute delight of a host, Couldn't fault it at all!

Lovely facilities. We had the family room and both the double and the single bed were very comfortable. Very friendly host who made us feel very welcome. Nice location, just a few minutes from the main part of town. Would recommend and definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay at Southford House. Clean, comfortable and relaxing, with a short walk into town. Pam, the owner, is friendly and informative. We tend to have breakfast at odd times, so “Room only” suits us. There are lots of good cafes in town.

The mattress is not very comfortable as it sags and the bed creaks everytime someone moves on it which can be disturbing to the other person.

Good size clean and warm room, great amenities, and a very friendly, warm and welcoming host in Pam. Pam was always keen to help and ensure our stay was comfortable. The room is very centrally located with excellent access to shops, pubs and local tourist attractions.

Great location. Walking distance to everything in the town and the BRNC. Great facilities in the room. Very comfortable bed too. Pam was a great host and communicated well throughout the booking process. Would recommend.

I'm 6.7ft ,I found the room a little bit of a tight squeeze,old building so the ceilings low and bathroom space very tight , sometimes I feel to big for this world ,!
