One tiny issue with height of twin bed which we mentioned. Higher than used to but once found the best route on it was fine.

Jules and Tony were excellent hosts from arrival to departure. Welcomed with tea and homemade cake, you felt part of the family. Their friendliness carried on through breakfast, where all guests quickly interacted with each other, catching up on where we’d been and suggesting ideas for visits and local restaurants. Good location with on site parking, a bonus in Bourton but be prepared for about a 10-15 minute into the centre of the village along narrow footpath. Twin bedroom comfortable, cosy with good quality pillows and linen. Well stocked tray with good selection of beverages including bottled water and biscuits. Shower room clean, larger than average fluffy bath towels with hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided.

The location of the property is ideal, as it is walking distance from Bourton on the water (my favorite village in the area). The room was very nice, spacious, super clean, and with an amazing view to the garden. We woke up with a view and the sound of birds singing! Most importantly Jules and Tony were excellent hosts, which really made the whole experience unforgettable. They were very welcoming, caring, happy to chat and share information for nice walks and villages to visit in the area. The highlight was the delicious cake that they gave us upon arrival (it was dreamy); while they even shared with us recipes for other cakes they would recommend😊 highly recommend this place!

The bedroom was small and quite difficult to navigate with only one chair. I was told that all their rooms were the same price and we could have a bigger one next time! but accessing one side of the bed was difficult. The breakfast choice was very limited especially for a vegetarian. I thought it quite pricey for what was offered.

Very friendly landlady and accommodated us arriving early and allowed us parking before and after our booked times. Very good location.

The breakfasts offered a huge choice of food plus ground coffee, lots of toast, yogurt, delicious freshly chopped up fruit and full English breakfast. The location was very close to the village and extremely walkable...we loved staying there and will definitely stay again.

Ceiling fire detector/alarm installed over the bed had horrible flashing lights. These were excessively bright and flashed constantly during the night. Host was apologetic but said these were installed due to modern health and safety guidelines.

The Wi-Fi kept on dropping in and out but the owner did explain it was because of the thick walls.

The breakfast was very nice and it was a quiet location which helped me sleep at night. It also wasn’t very far from the village which was a bonus as well.

1. Location. Just under ten minutes walk to the center. 2. Host are very nice, both Chris and Dave, particularly Chris who was very helpful and very nice. Both are main factor that I might just come back to stay here. 3. The dogs were very friendly and playful.

This is no reflection on the owners whatsoever - The pictures of the King Room on Booking.com are incorrect. This has been pointed out to the owners of the property. We were fortunate to be able to upgrade at additional cost to a larger room which was perfect.

The hosts, Christine and David, are the most wonderful and friendly people one could ever wish to meet. I must also include their two lovely dogs, Harvey and Abbie, who are delightful and made our little cockapoo very welcome. The whole place is very comfortable and exceptionally clean and the outside space and gardens are huge and beautifully kept. Location is a very pleasant 10 minute stroll into the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water with its many attractions.
