Sofa bed Bathroom

Room was ok, beds were clean. Main bed was comfy, sofa bed was not great. Bathroom sink and mirror were not as clean as I would expect for over £90 a night room.

On the second night went in resturant for dinner different staff from the first night which had been a really good experience,both nights food my husband ordered was out of stock I ordered a cabarnara which .had no sauce with it as we did not get check on our food I waited while at the end of the meal for the waitress to appear back in the resturant told her I could not eat it as it was too dry she said I will tell chef she came back over when we were sat in the bar said I can give you a glass of cola which she did a very small glass this was very disappointing and not the way I expected to be handled

The only down side we had was the tea and coffee facilities in the room you got 4 coffees and 4 tea bags but then only got 4 sugars with ment for us we had to choose either a cupper before bed or in the morning before breakfast was served ideally we would of had both

There were a few cleaning errors (dirty toilet, few rogue hairs in the bathroom) but overall it was good. There was an event on right under us with loud music/live band that went on until after 1.30am - not ideal with a child to be placed so close to it and I did struggle to get him to sleep because of it.

The only issues we had was the flushing system of the toilet. It had an old style system so had to hold in the flush for the toilet which we didn’t get told about. Overall no issues though.

The beds was uncomfortable and bit high for children to sleep on and the sofa bed is bits thin for children to sleep on

Larger than average and clean room and bathroom, a good full breakfast included and all the facilities of the caravan park open and available for hotel clients to use. Children's play areas, fast food if you want it, leisure facility, bar with entertainment for children until 9pm and adults after. Highly recommended.

The South park View is ideally situated on the fringes of Skegness. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, this is not our first visit and certainly not our last.

The hotel was extremely clean. Staff were very friendly. Very good that you can use the facilities in the Park Dean caravan resort although we didn't on this trip.

I had previously contacted the hotel before arrival by telephone. I was told we would be able to use the facilities on park before we checked in and could collect the passes. On arrival around 1pm - we were told we couldn't have the passes until we had checked in at 3pm - this was extremely disappointing as I'd previously rang to check this. This is a major reason for staying at this hotel and has seriously put me off booking again. The plug in the bath was unattached to the chain and left on the side. Chain still attached to the tap. once in the plug hole it was extremely difficult to get out and had to use a spoon as you are unable to pull it out. The room had been booked for 2A 2C only 2 sets of towels and cups. The mirror in the bathroom had a part missing from the frame - bottom left side. Breakfast- I found the lady on arrival very abrupt when asking for the room number, she directed us to a table and it was still dirty from previous guests. Then was again abrupt when asking us to wait while it was clean .

We enjoying visiting Southview and haven't stayed in the hotel since covid. We enjoy using the swimming pool. The lady ( sorry didn't catch her name) at the swimming pool was extremely helpful and understanding when I had a query regarding swimming and passes. The Boathouse service and food was good ! The staff in the show bar - friendly especially the bar staff The bedroom was clean and comfortable, a nice view of the ponds. Nice breakfast and friendly man on duty .

Breakfast could of been a little better was warm More options could of made it better also pastries porrage maybe pancakes for children etc and a machine that is self serving for your morning hot drink would of been nice instead of just a tea or coffee option only Staff was very helpful and friendly
