Really well equipped, comfortable and clean. Clear instructions on everything and friendly communications. The whole process was just easy.

We honestly could not find many issues at all,but it pains me to say as we loved it & would definitely stay again: The bed was just so incredibly hard and uncomfortable . Maybe we have a softer mattress at home & its personal preference. But it is literally the only thing that could be improved. We would 100% stay here again.

Spotless, looked brand new. Beautiful location. So peaceful and quiet but also near to southwell town centre for pub/ lunch/ shop the Minster & also the National Trust Workhouse is in the field next door: you can walk to it. Wonderful staff to welcome you & explain all the details. Also great communication with messages from the moment we booked. Well thought out details. Lovely hot tub.

We were reminded of why we like our super king bed! Staying in a double was a bit of a squish and a squeeze! Would book the bigger bed option next time! Had a little appliance issue too, but this was quickly remedied by the lovely host Lindsay!

The glamping pods were fun, particularly for our young children! It was well-located (short drive) from Sherwood which was why we'd booked here. Very lucky with the weather on our stay which made sitting out on the deck lovely with a glass of red ha!

We had a lovely stay at Southwell Retreat, its situated in lovely relaxing countryside and the pods are well equipped and cosy! We stayed in the Rosy Pod which was amazing and enjoyed the hot tub and outside seating area! Would definitely stay again, the host was also lovely and welcomed us to the pod!

From the minute I booked the communication from Lindsay was fantastic. All the information you need and any questions answered promptly. We stayed in the ROSY pod, the hot tub was an added extra. The set up was perfect and pods have everything you need. The location is great. A few minutes drive into the town or a 15 minute walk. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and relaxing! Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we will definitely return in the future and would highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay!🫶🏼

Our stay at the pod was nothing short of a tranquil escape into nature's embrace. Nestled in a remote and peaceful location, surrounded by the symphony of chirping birds and the refreshing scent of the outdoors, our experience was simply rejuvenating. The serene ambiance, coupled with the attentive hospitality of the Host Ms. Lindsay, made our time here truly memorable

It was delightful. The pod had everything you could have needed for the most comfortable luxury stay. It was decorated for a birthday and looked beautiful.

Towels where too small in size for use and too thin for use small mirror in the bathroom was loos and the light on it didn’t work

nothing it was perfect for what we wanted. cost is a little high so if it was a weeks holiday you could get a cottage for that price.

the pods are a perfect size for a couples getaway. the host was lovely and visited to say hi and check everything was OK. the location was perfect with sort drives to the locations we wanted to visit. would definitely stay again.
