The bed was a little hard for me, but other than that, happy with everything.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly and helpful. The room was great, had everything I needed, generous tea and coffee which automatically gives a 10/10 as I spend a lot of hours in the room. The rooms are soundproof. There is a restaurant next door which was great, as a solo traveller it is one of the worst things having to go out and find somewhere to eat.

Only one thing, as a woman a fixed overhead shower is not ideal, so one that you can manoeuvre and take off is better. We only had 1 hand towel in room 😔. Inconsiderate other guests slamming doors at 7am in the morning!

Friendly and welcoming staff behind the front desk, everywhere very clean including the room. Good parking. Good size on the wall TV. A little Co-op just down the road which was handy. Nice pub just outside also which had nice meals and breakfasts. Basically for the money it was excellent value. Would definitely stay again. Good location for lakeside and bluewater shopping.

The food. We booked breakfast for the 2 mornings, but it was so awful we cancelled for Saturday. At the drink station, I had to reject FIVE mugs because they were put away with stains. The cooked breakfast was adequate, hash browns were anaemic, dry and nasty, and the sausages were flavourless. My wife had the continental breakfast, but that was limited. The yoghurt was in an uncovered dish and the "fruit" was presented as coloured slop. Essentially, we wound up paying £6 odd for a couple of rounds of toast. Friday evening, for want of somewhere else local to eat, we went back for dinner. We wished we hadn't, to be honest. My wife had surf and turf, asked for the steak to be cooked medium. It was rare. She ate round it, waiting for a server to ask how the meal was, but the servers didn't come back, and they all walked round with fixed tunnel vision, avoiding eye contact with the diners. In the end, she gave up as I'd almost finished my burger and she didn't want to end up eating alone. Anyway, it was a poor meal but it filled a hole. We skipped dessert, and paid up and left. No tip for the server, no plan to ever go back there. Its a shame, really, because the hotel was nice, but apart from the restaurant next door there's nowhere else to eat nearby so that means the hotel won't see us again either.

Check in staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very pleasant, clean and tidy.

Though we arrived late, there wasn’t anyone at reception at 11pm. - It meant we had to wait a little while for someone to check us in when we first arrived at the hotel. The shower tub had very slow drainage so water would pool at our feet when we would shower. No shower-cap in the bathroom amenities.

Cleanliness. The place was very clean. Bed was really comfortable. WiFi was fast and reliable. Spacious Plenty of storage areas Nice and quiet - soundproofing was good. Very good location. Check out was fast.

A brief stay, arriving late in the evening and leaving before breakfast the following morning, so we only had the 'room' to consider. The room fully met all our expectations and was clean and well presented. Of particular note was the very friendly welcome we received at check-in.

Lack of Fresh fruit for breakfast .

Reasonably priced, especially as it was over the Xmas period. Room was comfortable & clean. Location for us was good. Ample parking. Breakfast was nice, but would have liked a selection of fresh fruit .
