Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

I love different and quirky. This hotel is both, the rooms (private and public ) are beautiful and the attention to detail is superb. Wow - the bathroom and shower fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

We booked to stay here for a couple of days after I'd run the Brighton Marathon. We wanted something more luxurious than the air BNB we'd had the past 2 nights and a room with a bath (which isn't an easy find in Brighton!) The room was wonderful. Comfy bed and a chaise longue in the window on which we could enjoy the stunning sea view. The bathroom exceeded expectations and the bath was perfect. Friendly staff and perfect location. If we're ever back in Brighton, we know where we'll be staying!

Breakfast was excellent, staff were so friendly and helpful. Checking in was painless and it was a perfect base for Brighton. Would have loved to stay longer and appreciate it even more than we did.

United KingdomThe Helmsley Suite was absolutely beautiful and also really comfortable and cosy. The whole hotel is fabulous. So much attention to detail. Breakfast was lovely. Great cocktails at the bar. Loved it so much we’ve rebooked! Also a huge thank you to James the manager who came out to rescue us very late on a horrible cold windy night when we stupidly lost our room key!

Roll.top.bath.with sea view, just! Very friendly staff. Great location. Private. Very luxurious. Decor is a fine balance of tradtional elegance and refreshingly naughty. See for yourself.

United KingdomIt's a good little hotel which is very well positioned near to the sea in Kemptown, close to soho house and the Lanes. Entrance in the evening is by code and all worked fine. It's close to bars, lots of restaurants and local tourist attractions
