The location of my room was little unfortunate as I caught the soundcheck and the full concert from downstairs from the comfort of my bed. I am still considering putting this into "pros" section :D I did ask the staff to warm the room up when I went out in the afternoon. I found out that the room was still cold when I went to bed, hoping I can warm up under the covers. Fortunately I messaged via booking.com and shortly after it got warmer.

The location was tippity-top as I had to get up at dear-lawd am to catch my flight and the bus to the airport was just around the corner. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was super helpful and welcoming. (Shout out to Anthony).

In front of the rooms there is an air blower which is extremely annoying. Some people are not very respectful of other people's space: groups of friends chatting at 3 in the morning with all the lights on and very dirty. Wear glasses to sleep, because if you get a top bunk the light from the ceiling goes straight into your eyes.

The location could not be more perfect. A 5 minute walk to the main train station and a 5 minute walk to the Royal Mile. Breakfast is typical bread and fruit. The internet has good range. The common areas are cleaned daily.

The hostel is in the heart of the city. and near the train station. Old town and castle are nearby. Good for short term stays, especially if you are a solo travel.(I booked a female only dorm). There is a nice cafe near the hostel building. Breakfast was really good. If you arrive early, there is a locker to keep your bags before check-in

As a solo traveler, St. Christopher's in central Edinburgh offered the perfect blend of convenience, affordability, and social atmosphere. Its prime location opposite Waverley railway station made it incredibly easy to access, especially when arriving in the city alone. The budget-friendly accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I appreciated the flexibility of room options, with the choice between private and shared bathrooms, allowing me to tailor my experience to my preferences. The hostel's communal areas and Belushi's bar provided great opportunities to meet fellow travelers and enjoy some entertainment, which was perfect for someone traveling solo looking to connect with others. Overall, St. Christopher's provided a welcoming and enjoyable experience for my solo adventure in Edinburgh.

The common room/hang out space wasn't particularly well equipped or comfy.

Everything was really clean and well maintained. The staff were all helpful and cheerful. The showers were great, and the beds were very comfortable with a curtain for privacy. The location was really convenient both for trains and for walking around town.

The Shower was small & the water pressure of the shower was so strong & my things was wet bcoz there's nothing where you can hang your clothes. Maybe they can put a shower curtains. Low pressure to flush the toilet but you just need to press the button harder.

The hostel was huge. I was expecting chaos bcoz of it's size but everything was organized and well maintained. The continent breakfast at £5 was superb & lots of choices. The location was perfect. Walking distance to all attractions in the Old Town

There were not enough showers, and the sinks were inside the toilet, so if you wanted to just brush your teeth you needed a free toilet which was a bit inconvenient. The showers were a bit small and didn't have enough space for you to put your belongings

The location was amazing, and the staff was very helpfull. Lockers are available for quite cheap. The room was very decent for the price highly recommend

The shower flooded a bit so if your stuff didn’t fit on the small bench it would’ve gotten wet. But I have been in far worse hostel showers so all things considered it wasn’t that bad.

The location was great, easy to walk to from the train station. The room was nice and clean and the staff did a good job of cleaning the shared bathrooms often.

The beds have a very small space between them. But if you are small or medium you won't have any problems. just try to get the bed at the top if you are tall like me. Other than that, everything was perfect.

I arrived late because of my flight, and the staff were very helpful in helping me after the scheduled time. the place is super well located, both from the airport bus stop to the city center, as well as 90% of the attractions. the place is modern, beautiful and clean. The beds have curtains for privacy and chargers built into the bed. great quality for the price. I recommend .

The toilets and bathrooms were not always clean, and there was a constant smell. This may be expected as it is a big hostel. But still, I believe that this can be improved.

The location was perfect in the heart of the old town and very close to the train station, very easy to commute. The breakfast was over my expectations as there was a good variety. The room sizes were also good and the curtains were giving some privacy.

The location is great, close to the train station, supermarkets and close to the main attractions. In general the place is good. The bed was quite decent and there was enough good and clean bathrooms. The staff was supportive when I needed, so there's no complaints.
