Our favourite accommodation of our latest trip through Scotland! We loved the view, the breakfast, the cleanliness, and the toiletries. Perfect (and recommended) for a trip to Bute!

Slight confusion over breakfast choices, eating out options limited in Rothesay.

Great large room and bathroom with fabulous view, decent breakfast and guest lounge.

The garden view. But we now understand why St Ebba is so popular. Next time we will book earlier.

The breakfast was delicious. The house was lovely, and the room very comfortable. Although we were too late to have a room with a sea view, the large lounge and breakfast rooms had wonderful vistas. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Friendly and welcoming host, beautiful location, comfortable bed and tasty home-made breakfast - the perfect B&B! Plenty of parking spaces around. The area is nice and calm. We liked the seaside walk to the town centre.

It was not about not liking I knew where it was located when I booked a 15 minute walk away from ferry and I had car anyway. At night I managed to get a taxi very easily and just flagging up without being critical

The setting was gorgeous looking onto sea from both bedroom and at breakfast. Staff were very helpful and informative and options at breakfast were superb for the price of the break.

    Nothing not to like

A minute or so drive from the centre of Rothesay so everything handy but quiet location. Room was lovely overlooking the bay., everything was spotless and bathroom great. Very nice breakfast and a separate guest lounge, both with wonderful views. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a 20 minute walk into the centre of Rothesay and so that did mean that it would be tricky to go into the centre to go to eat etc. without driving if you weren't able to walk that far. It is on the principal road in Bute so not immediately surrounded by the countryside.

The room was great. It was a good size with plenty of cupboard space and two chairs to sit on. It had a roomy and clean shower room. The beds were very comfortable and warm. The breakfast was excellent. There was a sitting room where we could have sat looking out onto the sea. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The property is in a very central location for visiting the major site of Mount Stewart which is only about 12 minutes in the car. It's also close to Ettrick Bay and convenient for visiting other places. This property is on a road but has a spectacular view. It was very easy to park the car. I
