The car park had a very steep entrance - not so good if you have mobility issues (luckily, we did not). Also, no hairdryer in the room as specified.

The hotel was clean and served its purpose. The staff were very polite and friendly

Not sure what vegetarian or vegan options would have been available, if anyone wanted them?

Everything was fine. Lovely view of the Medway from our room. Quiet room. TV worked well (actual terrestrial channels, not only subscription services - a real bonus). Breakfast was good. And we could eat in, for supper. We could park in the overflow carpark behind the hotel.

This hotel is in need of a bit of TLC. The room was poorly prepared and not attended to when it was pointed out. The bed was a bit past it!

It is fairly well situated between Rochester (nearby town) and Chatham and that suited us.

The person running the restaurant had too much to do. The breakfast cereals were very basic. The bedroom needed some attention including 3 missing light bulbs, (although replaced when we reported it) and one of the beds was rather uncomfortable.

The cooked breakfast was good in quality and quantity. The staff were all pleasant and responsive to our needs. The bedroom was warm. The view from the car park was spectacular!

Both of the beds and the blankets are very short. We couldn't open the windows, they were broken. The heat is being turned off during the night. The breakfast is very small and not really tasty.

The dressing table chair was broken and was quite dangerous to sit on. It pretty much disintegrated once you applied any weight. I did inform the reception staff upon departure.

The room was fairly basic, but had an en suite shower and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast area was very well presented and the staff helpful.

I arrived on a Sunday. There was no food on sale on the premises and I had to explore to find a nearby shop. In the morning the coffee machine was not working. Perhaps my stay was at a bad time?

The staff were friendly and helpful. The signs in the hotel were good and I did not get lost. The car park was conveniently located close by. There were options for breakfast both cooked and continental.

Room small, heating too hot. Couldn't get a meal in evening as another Christmas function was in progress. Was not informed that kitchen was closed to guests that evening (Saturday). Annoying music playing in lower part of building till 1am. Rooms in need of some maintenance

Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Good view across river.

The heat in the bathroom from the towel rail was overpowering, far too hot in the bathroom and there was no way to reduce the heat. And no window to let the heat out of bathroom. Wasnt aware that because there were functions on in the evening the restaurant would not be available in the evening. We were on 4th floor and could hear the function sounds but only as background noise , didnt disturb us too much but I think if you were on a lower floor you would hear it more. Breakfast food was good but limited choice; cooked breakfast was fried egg ( no choice of scambled or poached) beans 1 sausage 2 rashers bacon. there was orange and apple juice available and bread to toast but toaster took 3 goes to even lighlty toast the bread. cereal available, but no yoghurts or fruit

The location was excellent for the Rochester xmas market and to go into Chatham, Ideal as a base location for Rochester and Chatham. As both within walking distance, 20 minutes slow walk, or 15 at moderate pace and bus service good aswell. Parking on site was good and free wifi. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and good size , tea/coffee/ hot chocolate and milk plentiful in room and a decent size mug- very nice to have a proper size mug. nice thick towels. Lift to all floors. Food was ok but limited . see below
