Location not too far from town centre, accommodation was immaculate, staff were excellent and very helpful would definitely recommend this guest house 10/10 breakfast was absolutely fantastic and well worth the money and great parking for £10 a day

Shower could be improved as is not easy to unjust temperature and water flow is weak.

Overall good value for money. Great location. Offering parking space with much cheaper price than car parks around the area. Nice tidy and clean room with comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Easy self check-in.

Couldn’t fault a thing

We stayed in room 10 very cosy, very clean ! Nice shower, we slept well on the nights even with the trains going by, breakfasts were lovely they accommodated my GF bread which I thought was very kind - and the girls serving us were very nice and friendly - good clear and precise info on tk how to get into building after check in time too, brilliant housekeeping

There’s was abit of mould around the corner of the showers , we paid £160 for the night with breakfast.. the breakfast wasn’t very good at all the bacon and sausage were really tough and chewy , we both ordered poached eggs and you could see they was cooked in the little plastic cup pans and was served like a hard boiled eggs it’s nice when your away and get poached eggs made properly ..but other than that the rooms were clean :)

Just one thing to mention. The shower could have done with being resealed around the tray at the bottom. It made the shower look a bit untidy. Other than that, no complaints at all 😊😊

wow , a delightful hotel with fantastic character. room was good , breakfast was filling and its an ideal hotel bang in Central York for what I needed. oh and the hostess , Christina greeted myself with a warm smile, making the stay even more amazing.

The shower wasn’t working for 2 days, very low flow, we were told to run it for several minutes but flow still not adequate. A member of staff got it going for us, but still a very low flow.
