Very different experience. The host were super nice and helpful with everything! We love the hot tub, the tent, the stove and walking around the town. It was a wonderful trip to us all!

Wonderfully cosy yurt surrounded by magical gardens beautifully lit at night. Fire pit and stove kept us warm through cold February nights. Just perfect

    That we didn't stay longer.

This stay was the highlight of our trip! Wonderful, unique and comfortable - we ended up regretting not staying for longer. Sitting in a steaming hot tub under the stars and with several church towers in the background was idyllic, and the cabin was immaculate, well decorated and stocked with essentials. Although the season wasn't right for sitting outside, there was a huge patio and kitchen area which would be perfect for outdoor dining in the summer. Our whole area was enclosed by a fence and felt very private. The toilets were located a very short walk away and we had our own dedicated bathroom, which a wonderful shower and heated towel rack. There was also an activities area well stocked with books and local information. We walked here from the Stamford train station, which was an easy 15 minute walk - making the facility feel secluded with all the comforts of a town nearby.

    Nothing!

Lovely location, it felt secluded and homely. The owners were welcoming and friendly, they showed us everything we needed and genuinely wanted to help anyway they could. You could tell they put a lot of care into making visitors feel comfortable, for example, they left a breakfast basket, condiments, dressing gowns and other items to make us feel settled in immediately.

It was so unexpected to find such a beautiful location just a 10 minute walk into Stamford. We were greeted by our lovely, smiley host Amelia who showed us to our yurt. We loved every moment of our stay. The yurt was immaculate, the bed super comfy and the outdoor area was a beautiful eco friendly oasis. The wood burning hot tub was warmed up on arrival and plenty of wood to top up if needed. If you like to be in touch with nature, combined with a short walk into town, then this is the place for you! The historic town of Stamford has lots of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Market day is on Friday, and you'll find stalls that sell items of every description.

They are just in the process of increasing the shower room facilities - once they are done it will be just about perfect.

What a brilliant location - close to town but peaceful. Even the rain couldn't ruin our stay. Amelia was great, picking me up from the station when I had to change my travel plans at the last minute. The hot tub was heated up and ready to go and the yurt was excellent and all set in your own area of secret garden. Lovely welcome basket, in the kitchen, with all local produce. We also took advantage of the treatments on offer, enjoying a relaxing massage.

Amelia was very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The yurt was an experience for us. We have always stayed in hotels, but it is something we would try again. We enjoyed the set up with everything you would need, separate kitchen, outdoor dining, fire pit (if you needed it) and jacuzzi (costume required) set in their beautiful home garden. Apples and pears on the trees, but take to make chutney... The surroundings and that it was close to Burghley House and the local shops.
