Nothing, really good hotel.

Staybridge suites completely exceeded my expectations. When I booked I was looking for a basic, functional hotel close to Heathrow as we were just transiting through London on our way to Dubai. We were so pleasantly surprised when we got there, reception services were excellent, the room was really nice, lovely kitchenette and plush bathroom. They had a drinks night when we checked in so had some wine & nibbles on the house too. Breakfast which is included in your room rate was excellent. The hotel shuttle (paid service) from the airport drops you right to the hotel & the bus stop, to get to Heathrow & then on the tube to the city, is just across the road - very convenient. The rooms were very well priced too.

Just a minor downside: our phone service was minimal throughout our stay. But I won't put the blame on the Hotel re this!

No sound isolation of walls- we heard all neighbors talks, poor TV options, room in fact was not as on booking pictures, no hashbrown and potatoes in breakfast

Amazing green-plane view from the window, location, soundproofing- didn't hear planes outside at all, clean room, comfortable nice bed and bathroom, nice room design, tasty good breakfast

There was another guest who was checking in beside me. He got it all sorted at the desk. However I had to wait for the staff that attended to me to go out to the hotel next door and confirm my booking and payment even though I even had everything printed, down to my payment receipt. Both of us had booked through Booking.com Had to also reconfirm that I had paid already, as was asked for my card to make payment. Also I guess it's alright for the type of hotel. I had to push the trolley with my bags to my room and bring it back to the lift area as I was told the hotel has no attendants that could help me with them.

I loved my stay. The room was clean and even when I went out, the room was cleaned and restocked where needed. All relevant information was given at the desk and also on the notice board in the room. The room I stayed in allowed me to cook and warm my food in the microwave. It had dish washer, sink, induction hob with pots and pans. Next time am back will bring seasoning so can do even more.

No complaints...

So, I left my phone at the cab that drove me from the airport. Now, the gentleman at the reception (sorry, I forgot his name, but he is from Mauritius) helped me retrieve it promptly asking the driver to look for my phone on the back seat. And there it was. Needless to say, this saved me a few headaches!

I guess the price could have been cheaper but this is probably due to the proximity to the airport.

Great to have the facility to cook in the apartments kitchen. Also very convenient to Heathrow. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Also fab that they had a mini pantry shop to buy things from.

Finding it! Struggled to locate it from bus stop where we were told to get off. Had to cross very busy road with all the luggage. The evening meal at hotel next door was terrible. Would not recommend their food! Breakfast had limited selection of food.

It was clean and quite modern. The room had all amenities needed. Close to Heathrow Airport terminal 2 for next day flight.

Oven is needed and better induction pots. Also AC does not have warm room temperature. Just cold or hot. Also could be a better variety for breakfast.

The biggest issue with the hotel was the bed being incredibly firm, so much so neither of us got much sleep with it. Furthermore the staff when checking in were too busy talking to one another then assisting us directly and immediately went back to talking again after checking us in (Despite a few other customers waiting).

The room was clean & tidy upon arrival, with plenty of space which is a rarity for London to say the least. Considering the proximity to the airport the room was also silent and we need not worry about sound at all. Breakfast considering it was free was good, and on-site facilities such as the Gym and Laundry were also spot on.
