The rather long and pot holed lane but quite understand the continuous weather made any improvements impossible

Friendly welcome and comfortable room. Fresh milk provided for drinks in room. Farm location and quiet countryside.

The signage could have been a bit clearer and you do have to have a vehicle to get about.

It was peaceful and comfortable. The shower only was a +. The host was accommodating and brought our adequate breakfast at the time specified with a good plunger coffee. Overall nice people nice place. I would recommend this place..

Eddie didn't like the laneway leading into the farm. It was probaby made worse by the rain experienced.

Nikki went out of her way to connect us with local people and was genuinely interested in the success of our stay in the area. The breakfast was great.

We enjoyed our stay and the accommodation was fine. On the clear night the stars were spectacular.

A long, badly maintained lane in from the main road that suited large four wheeled drives and tractors better than a small car!

Very nice accommodation. Nice country views. Very pleasant hostess.

    Nothing

The property was a self contained bedroom and seperate bathroom but no cooking facilities. It was a newish first floor complex and it was immaculate and decorated tastefully. It was on a farm a few kilometres from the closest village. We had dinner at the local pub twice as the meals were good. Nicci and Matt - our hosts- were extremely friendly, thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay. We took up Nicci’s offer of breakfast and she ensured that it was exactly what we required ie providing a GF meal for me.

The location is perfect for visiting all of the north Devon attractions and places of beauty. The room and bathroom were both extremely spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I also recommend The Union Inn for food. Which is about five minutes drive away.

We were offered milk on our arrival for hot drinks , however the milk was not refreshed and as there was no way of chilling it went off very quickly. Also when the owners delivered the breakfast there two dogs joined them. There was no thoughts of whether or not we where allergic to animals. Also on the second night I went for a shower, only to find 3 minutes in there was no hot water in the room. My wife went to question this and the answer was " oh that's because the couple in the garden room are having a jacuzzi. " If you know of this problem fix it. It will not fix itself.

The owners where very friendly , the room and bathrooms where quite modern. They where both light and a good size. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and substantial. Bed was comfortable and a good size.

Not clear where to go on arrival and a bit of a shame that we had to ask for more milk, would have been better if it was provided. Also had to call to ask how to check out. Didn't get to see the animals, even though we asked and the driveway is just as bad as suggested in the description.

Spotless on arrival, good supply of mugs, tea and coffee, fabulous shower. We were completely undisturbed after we'd checked in.

There was nothing not to like. Road works nearby were an inconvenience as SAT NAV did not recognise these but the welcome we received from Nicci when we eventually did arrive more than made up for it!! Drive leading up to Stibb Hollow Farm a bit dodgy but it is a working farm so just drive slowly.

Breakfast was very good and a choice of full English or Continental. Had the choice of breakfast in our room or in the kitchen of the main house. We chose the kitchen and were treated to the sight of all birds feeding in the garden. Location was just right for our visits to RHS Rosemore, and the peace and quiet of the countryside.
