location is perfect. 5 minute walk to the train station. you can buy a return into the centre of st ives for £2. trains run every half hour, also to penzance. Nice and peaceful and perfect for walking too.

The weather , very windy and wet but we had a great day at lands end where it was a bit dryer.

Comfortable, very clean accommodation with everything you could need on hand. Hosts thought of everything from the ironing board to the free shortbread biscuits. Handy folder left in room with all the information for an enjoyable stay in st ives. The outside space and seats were a welcome extra in a secluded space with own entrance. The shower was wonderful in the bathroom and the bed is very comfortable. Izzy is a wonderful host allowing you privacy but there if you need anything .I would highly recommend staying here for a short break .

The weather was not good enough to enjoy the lovely outdoor area.

The Stylish Coastal Retreat was perfect for our one night stay. The directions and check-in info were spot on, and we found it with no trouble at all. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything as described online. The extra treats left for us to enjoy only added to our delight. The shower room was one of the best that we had encountered. We will have no hesitation in booking again next time we require somewhere to stay in that area.

Essentially you are staying in a luxury cabin in a suburban back yard. I don’t mean that negatively because it’s ideal if you need car parking. However you definitely need a car to stay here. The plus is that the train is just down the road and it’s a 5 minute trip to St Ives - where car parking is very difficult if not impossible.

This is a great place to stay. It’s not large but spacious enough and every last thing is provided. It’s very clean and very comfortable. Great bed, lovely linen and pillows. You have your own private courtyard to sit outside in the sun.

The property is lovely. Izzy and Rob have thought of everything, there is plenty of space, storage and a great mini kitchen set up with everything you need for a short break. We particularly enjoyed the patio area and outdoor shower.

Perfect location, very private and easy to park. The room had everything you needed and more, could not fault it at all. Had some of the best sleep we've ever had in the bed, felt relaxed straight away on the first day. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

I honestly do not have a bad word to say against this place, Izzy and her family should be very proud!

It's was a very cute little apartment, perfect for what we needed. All the facilities that you need with the location of dreams, 2 minute walk down to the beach, shops/cafes/restaurants also 2 minutes away. Train station to visit other surrounding towns also a couple minutes down the road!

Wifi could be a little bit iffy for some streaming sites - but on the whole good.

This place is very conveniently located, 10 mins walk to the beach and 5-10 mins walk to the station to get to St.Ives or a 10 min drive. Ideal for a solo traveler or a couple looking for a bit less hustle and bustle of the main St Ives town. Available and safe parking outside the property for peace of mind. Modern and clean furnishings, charming patio area outside. Izzy the host is welcoming and attentive for an all round comfortable and enjoyable stay.

A fantastic stay in a lovely place. Issy was very welcoming and gave us all the information we could possibly need to enjoy the local area, from great restaurants to the location of the train station to carbis bay. The private patio was a great little space to enjoy a book and a glass of wine, which gave the garden room an added relaxing element . The mini fridge had a variety of local beverages and Izzy offered to accommodate milk requirements. Off street parking was also ideal.

Very well equipped - great shower/bathroom suite and even had a warm outdoor shower. Everything you need in the room - coffee machine, kettle, toaster , plates etc. Very clean. Great location. 5 min walk to restaurant (la casita) and a shop. Less than 10 to the train station and about 10-15 to the beach. Izzy (the host) was also very nice and welcoming.

A bit of a steep climb up the hill from the train station and beach but didn’t mind so much when we got there. There wasn’t much at Carbis Bay but it was only a 3-mins train ride to St Ives where it’s livelier.
