I liked everything about this apartment.,unfortunately my sister has just recently had a hip operation and the stairs to the house only 17 steps (I think) but it was too much at this present moment in time, maybe later when she’s fully recovered it would be fine. The fire doors inside was hard for her to push and pull open, as they are heavy,especially when using 2 sticks, meant that she had to phone me when she wanted to get out of bed. However that is no fault of the hosts it’s just due to circumstances at this present time.

The property was lovely and clean. The bedrooms were lovely, with comfortable beds in both.lovely art on the walls, amazing carpets throughout the apartment. Nice and cosy. Plenty of everything in the kitchen. Really nice.

The only thing that detracted from the property was that the gardens were very neglected and unkempt. Though, it could be due to the fact that perhaps they were owned and maintained by the other property owners.

Lovely property very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. Conveniently located just outside the centre of the town.

The basin in the bathroom is very small, as some previous reviewers have said. Not a problem at all for us but just worth noting if you like a normal dize basin. The shoe area at the bottom of the stairs is also tiny for a family to remove shoes before entering. There is a shoe rack but not enough space really. I used a hessian shopping bag to put shoes in and left it on the first stair so we could remove shoes one at a time. You can get baskets that fit stairs and that may be a better idea to help support getting guests to do it. Just an idea. Again wasn't a big issue for us.

Super apartment. Very comfortable & cosy after a day out and about in the beautiful Borders region. The apartment had everything you could possibly need. We particularly liked the cosy lounge/kitchen area - my daughter LOVED the swing chair and the sofa was comfy for my husband & I, in the evening relaxing watching a film. The kitchen had everything you could need. I'd read previous reviews about a few things missing, like a bread board & oven gloves so took my own but when we arrived they were all there so I needn't have worried. The bed was sooo comfy I asked for the make/model! We love Peebles & the surrounding area and visit every year at some point. Would I stay here again? Def YES! Thank you for a super place to stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

The flat was just as described by all the previous reviewers and as lovely as photos. Stylish, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Fully equipped with a welcome tray (coffee, tea, biscuits, jam, and marmalade). The location was perfect for Neice's wedding at Neidpath Castle (5 mins in taxi - recommend A1 taxis). It is also in walking distance to town centre (10 mins), where there are lots of independent shops, cafes, hotels and restaurants. We had lunch in the Crown Hotel - friendly staff, and lovely food. I would highly recommend this flat when visiting Peebles.

The stairs upto the property are fairly steep to take bags up but that's the nature of a maisonette. The bathroom is very small so it's hard to get dressed etc in there, but the shower is great. The heating had been left off between lets, which is fine but it meant it was freezing on arrival (early March booking) and took half an hour to warm up. The boiler in the kitchen is extremely noisy for anyone staying on the sofa bed.

Good location, well appointed flat, plenty of space and the sofa bed was fine for one person. Bedding easy to find and use. Kitchen well designed and also well equipped.

The size of the area at the bottom of the stairs was very tight for 4 to get in and get their shoes off without letting all the heat out the flat! APart from that absolutely no complaints

The location was perfect for Peebles town centre and Hay Lodge Park (for Parkrun). The rooms were well equipped for use with beautiful bed linens, toiletries/towels in the bathroom, a well stocked kitchen. The flat was initially quite chilly but there was snow / ice on the ground outside and the heating provided was easy to boost when needed.
