How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Perhaps not fair to a degree but I'm 68 with fibromu=yalgia so struggle with sleeping on anything that isn't a medium at most wuality mattress. The mattress felt more budget but wold be fine for most people i'm sure. The sofabed (my 32 yr old son used) was just that, a thin mattress on a sprung base but then to be fair to the excellent hosts, the aprtment is advertised as a double room for 2. Again, due to my own health issues, the dedicated sofa was too low for me to use. Overall, we were very pleased and communication from the host was first rate. Thanks
Clean, excellent location, all you could require (appliances etc), parking a short walk away (I struggle with walking regularly but it wasn;t anywhere near as far as maps show. It's a 7 minute very slow walk from the dedicated parking space up the lane.

Everything! Great location in centre of Holt and perfect base to explore surrounding area. Accommodation was clean and modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts was friendly and responsive to questions and went out of way to accommodate our needs. Bonus of a car park only a minute walk away.

Great property, fantastic location. Perfect for our stay. Great communication from the owners, very well equipped and stylish accommodation right in the middle of Holt.

No issues with the property itself. Any concerns of the road so close are far outweighed by the convenience and being secure in the knowledge that at busy times a permanent private parking space is a 2 minute drive away (& 5 minute walk back 'home').
Spacious lounge / diner (where a settee can convert into a second double bed) and separate bedroom (king size). Bathroom situated between the two, with space for coats, shoes etc. In hall. Very modern, clean feel throughout, t.v.'s in lounge & bedroom, plus radio in kitchen and strong WiFi throughout. One hours parking on street plus private reserved parking spot a 5 minute walk away, so good to unload/ reload, use between 6pm - 8am and keep car off street 24hrs if needed.

Great location. In the heart of holt. Good facilities, excellent soft furnishings which actually make all the difference. All you could need for your stay is in the apartment. I love it, and hope to book again soon.

Central but quiet location, very good building convertion, everything you need for a short or long stay (except lack of tea-pot!!) Entry details & parking were fine, would highly recommend.

Couldn’t find a power socket in the bedroom though
Very clean and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. In a convenient location for all the shops and restaurants in Holt, also had our own parking space.

Parking wasn’t allowed in front of the apartment, however alternativ within walking distance provided, which was very helpful. Streetside little loud at nighttime. Still had a great time.

We liked how the property was modern and in a good location and in a cute little tucked away courtyard. The car park was easy to find and walkable distance. Found the coffee machine and tea bags a nice welcome thing. First time in Holt and the town amazes us, lall shops are walking distance.

Dodging the British rain showers!
Great location and facilities in a lovely area of England with lots of nice days trips close at hand. Holt surpassed expectations as a base to look around from.
