How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

As said in my other reviews, just a small defect on one of the bedroom's windows allowed the traffic noise to come through. Nothing major.

It's on a very busy and noisy road but luckily we could close the windows and use the air conditioning unit.
Friendly, modern, clean and nice decor. Popular with local people. Breakfast choices are very good, well cooked and nicely presented. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Shower gel and shampoo supplied. Hospitality tray with tea, coffee and 2 packs of biscuits. Fresh milk and bottle of water in the mini fridge. Heating and air conditioning. Had a great night's sleep.

The room was missing a wardrobe but there was a hanging thing on the wall which I only discovered at the end of my stay. As I was travelling alone, and only there for 5 days, I didn't have many clothes which I hung up on hangers on the back of the door. if I had been travelling with my husband we would have struggled a bit with where to hang our clothes. (I travel light, he doesn't!) However, there was a spacious chest of drawers, which I could have used. There was an annoying drip drip drip on the outside, from above, which was frequently hitting the window frame. I showed this to the lovely lady, (sorry I forgot your name) not necessarily because it was a bit annoying, but because, in time, it will destroy the window frame and bring dampness into the room.
Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice. Evening - dinner was great too. The bed was very comfortable. The towels were fluffy and fresh. The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was a good size, beautifully decorated, with a lovely view of the countryside.

Very noisy due to proximity to A140. Bathroom window not fitted correctly.
Staff pleasant and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Food acceptable - nice choice of breakfast.

Breakfast options were not explained clearly until I asked. Breakfast was not available until 9am. Only one small coffee at breakfast. No where to hang clothes in the bedroom except one hook on the door.

We were in the Mannilo room which was abit noisy with the generator just outside
We ate several times at the restaurant and everything we tied was amazing! Staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Cleaning staff did an excellent job

Lovely comfortable room, tea, coffee plentiful, good bathroom products, loved the shampoo. Travelling alone but felt very well looked after, lovely evening meal, very reasonably priced. Wonderful breakfast included in room rate.

Breakfast hot available by at least 7.30 am not good for travel around work commitments.
How can you have a breakfast time starting at 9.00am when most people have to leave early for work. Still charging as a b&b but no cooked breakfast until after 9am. This is not acceptable.

Excellent place to stay great room, wonderful staff and the breakfasts are absolutely amazing. The bigbeet is like an eating challenge there's so much of it and it's all really good quality food.

Nothing! Loved our stay here!
Breakfast was very tasty, the room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable! The staff was friendly and approachable and the onsite car park was a very big bonus!
