Nothing - there was a few flights of stairs (so not so good if you're not mobile). There is a lot of building work going on in the area at the moment.

Very hard bed, needs a mattress topper. I like a hard bed too, but this is too hard. Only one plate and one bowl and one set of cutlery

Pillows a bit soft and lumpy, a small double bed for the size of the room. Small shower for the size of the bathroom. Need a shelf/unit in the bathroom to be able to place items on for ease of use.

Shower great BUT took a long time to go down probably needs to be sorted.

Great location. Very nice apartment. Bed a little soft, but able to sleep. Staircase easy to get up and down even though I am 86. Was quiet outside looking out to a courtyard and a lovely coffee shop opposite. Would stay again if I am ever in Lancaster again.

I didnt like the steps up to the apartment..we are used to being down stairs so did find it really hard climbing up to room 4 and 5

wifi was a tad slow , some cracked flooring in kitchen and bathroom

5 min walk from train station, very close to the shops, and pubs etc ,place was clean and modern

No fridge and the SMART TV switched on but didn’t work

The door where the microwave is situated was hanging off at top (I fixed it) The blinds we're very out of level and one of them rolled right off when we rolled it down, the main( room door) did not feel secure and was only just going into the latch and was loose! Window in the living area was letting in cold drafts and also had half a dozen lady birds over it, ( didn't mind them as we love ladybirds lol) shower screen brackets were very loose meaning the glass wasn't secure at the back of shower nr toilet, actually it was literally off... Some shelving in bathroom was loose n hanging as if was just gonna come off wall.. Also some of the lights weren't working ie under the hob above worktop, hob fan didn't work, the lamp in living area was slack as anything on its stand and leaning that much it was almost falling over.. Such a shame because it would be an absolute 10 out of 10 if these simple things were fixed which takes no doing and no cost at all to do.... The place doesn't even look like it does from the outside as non of them lights even work... Saying all this we actually still had a brilliant time and a great experience but to have all them minor things fixed and secure would make a world of difference.... Kind regards Daz n Suze xx

Location great, parking great apartment great and lovely n warm.. Had a thoroughly brill time!! So many brilliant places to shop, eat, drink on ya door step, we went mid week so it was quieter than usual just what we wanted... No hassle booking and getting keys too..

The mirror by the dressing table is too high so it makes it very difficult too see in the mirror when doing make up

Outside is relatively noisy, especially on the ground floor. There is a lot of footfall late at night, when people are often very drunk and shouty. Secondary glazing in the ground floor rooms would really improve the comfort level. Also, the smoke alarm in apartment 3 is placed directly above the cooker so that every time we tried to cook something we set off the fire alarm for the whole building! This happened three times. I understand the need for safety but the alarm is placed where any heat, not just smoke, sets it off.

The beds and bedding were extremely comfy. The bathroom was also excellent, and the tea and coffee facilities also just right. Overall very comfortable.

Sun Street Aparthotel is a great place to stay, which is right in the centre of Lancaster, close to all bars and restaurants. Our room was on the bottom floor (room one), which was spacious and very clean. I would definitely recommend staying here again.

Stayed here before and was glad to see it back open. Dead centre of lancaster , not far from the train station but also out the way and quiet . Great sized room and facilities. Always a nice temperature and comfy beds :) can't wait to come back.

Shared hall & stairs need smartening up, lounge lamp & bathroom mirror lights not working. No on site parking easily available although we did get parked not far away
