Bit tired decor in bedroom .

Karen and Phil were very welcoming very helpful . Spotlessly clean lovely bed linen slept very well breakfast was very good. Parking was very easy on the drive . The room was quiet even though on a busy road.

I had inadvertently booked room only and it was not possible to change this and I found there was nowhere handy nearby to buy breakfast. Not an insurmountable problem though.

The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Everywhere was very clean. My room was on the second floor but the proprietor very kindly carried my case up to the room.

It was slightly further out of Deal than we expected but not by much.

Good sized room, friendly hosts, lovely breakfasts. Anything you required, you just needed to ask.

This B&B is run by a friendly couple who are maintaining social distance rules and Covid restrictions. Breakfast was brought up to our room each morning and we could choose what we preferred from a tick sheet the day before. Our room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The en-suite was also spacious and spotless. It was very humid during our stay but there was a fan which really helped. We were really impressed with Sunnycroft and hope to return soon.

There were a lots of stairs (which is to be expected, as it's a beautiful converted old victorian house), and the private bathroom for our room was separate and across a shared hallway. For these two reasons I'd say some of the rooms are not ideal for visitors with mobility issues.

The hosts were very welcoming and they cared a lot about covid safety. The rooms were smart, clean, and comfortable. The location was ideal for walking 10-15 minutes into central deal/the beach. Despite being on a fairly busy road, it was very quiet at night. Free parking is available in the property's driveway or on surrounding roads. Overall, very good value for money and I would be happy to stay again.

Even though our conversations were brief due to Covid safety measures, the welcome from Karen & Phil shows their warmth, hospitality, and care for their guests. It was wonderful to meet them and stay, I look forward to seeing them again.

Sunnycroft was comfortable and clean. It was an easy walk into town or to the beach. The problem for us was the traffic noise disturbed our sleep and woke us very early both mornings.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful big bathroom. The breakfasts excellent, both cooked and cereal choices provided all you could want. The hosts are very nice, polite and helpful.

Despite previous reviews front door, ground floor wooden hallway and some paint surfaces in room/bathroom could have been repainted /varnished to improve first impressions - despite better impressions from nicely carpeted staircase corridors to rooms. Breakfast room bland, no lounge/sitting area to relax in.

Breakfast acceptable. Bedroom fairly basic but acceptable and reasonable size, separate sink included. Slept well in beds in top floor twin room, closeby private separate bathroom with acceptable sink/shower cubicle. Owners attentive and pleasant.

Due to overflowing gutters at the front the front door had swollen and so entry was difficult, and also to close it. The hall flooring seemed to have been removed leaving bare floorboards. The dining room was unavailable due to refurbishment and so we had to have breakfast in our room. We were on the top floor so toast was cold but the cooked breakfast was on warm plates and was ok. Breakfast choice was fairly limited so some items such as yogurts weren't available but the food was well cooked. Parking was affected by overgrown bushes which needs cutting back. Paintwork at the front needs doing and much of the inside seems to need repainting.

A really nice couple run Sunnycroft and I really hope they make a success of it, but they seem to be struggling with the amount of maintenance needed. The building has potential. Breakfast was ok but fairly basic. Room size was just about adequate. I really liked the fact that when I mentioned I could feel the springs in my mattress which affected me sleeping they very quickly responded with a replacement mattress which was fine. The private bathroom was nice but cold because the radiator needs bleeding.

The front of the property around the door area very scruffy with cobwebs and muck with overgrown plants and shrubbery. Inside very dark and uninviting our room was top floor very poorly furnished, windows all condensation trickling down them . The bathroom was ok but the shower just a trickle. In my opinion they desperately need a refurb im sorry to say.
