Didn't like the the outside private toilet, sorry....ensuite would have been better. We wanted the space but with the ensuite.

Everything was great, host brilliant, chair at window for my sister was fantastic, thankyou. Size of room was amazing.

I can't really think of anything that could have been improved.

Breakfast was excellent. The proprietor asked for my preference and provided it just as requested with a few extras. The room was large, warm and comfortable with lovely sea views.

There was nothing.......literally nothing to complain about

Breakfast was top notch. There was a full vegetarian breakfast but i had the cereal and scrambled eggs on toast. Fresh and hot. Lorna and her daughter were brilliant. No hassle, nothing too much, great local knowledge (as i did have. Couple of questions etc)

Some noise from the traffic on road in front of the house during the day, little at night. At the time we visited there were hardly any restaurants open in Rothsey where we could eat but a good selection of carry-outs.

Great location looking over the bay to the mainland. Our room was at the front so we could enjoy the view and in addition you can sit outside in front of the house and watch the ferry come and go, and eat you carry-out. Excellent vegan fried breakfast. Very comfortable. Fairly close to the centre if town and the shops.

Lorna and Stevie were exceptional hosts. The rooms were big but felt cosy. The views of the bay were amazing. Ideal location. Lorna's breakfasts were delicious. A home away from home.

This B&B offers great value for money situated right on the sea front in the heart of Rothesay. Lorna made us feel welcome right from us arriving and gave us loads of information about places of interest to visit, how to hire bikes if we wanted, places to eat and much more which was very helpful. The cooked breakfasts were enormous and set us up for the day not needing to have any lunch, however i'm sure if you wanted a smaller one or just a sandwich she would of been happy to do that, fruit and cereals were also on offer. We had room number 1 which was big and had everything you needed, also a seating area looking over the sea which we enjoyed. Outside at the front was also a patio area with seating, we were lucky enough to have amazing sunny weather so enjoyed sitting here having a drink or 2 in the vening before going out for dinner and afterwards when we got back. I can honestly say we would not stay anywhere else if we come back to Rothesay and reccomend anyone to stay here.

Breakfast was very hearty with a great variety of puddings (I.e. black, white, fruit) as well as all the traditional elements of a Scottish breakfast. I would have preferred to have a greater variety of fresh fruit (summer/soft fruits) and yogurt, as well as homemade muesli and local crusty bread and maybe some local honey and marmalade. Location was fabulous, overlooking Rothesay Bay - perfect for early morning swims and watching the ferries from the mainland coming and going from the bedroom or the terrace. Easy walking distance from all amenities. Bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Landlady, Lorna, was a perfect hostess - very welcoming and friendly and great at recommending local places of interest. Thank you!!!
