How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Been here a few times now and it's our go to place when we stay in Llandudno. Staff are excellent and make you feel welcome. Room has everything you need and was clean.

No parking. It is difficult to find parking nearby, we had to park in the Victoria Shopping centre that is about a 10 minute walk away.
Lovely place in an excellent location. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included, which was freshly cooked to order. Very clean and comfortable. I would stay again.

Dirty mark on bed base. Occasional smell from bathroom.
Room was good value for money and there was no problems with the cooked breakfast. Location was excellent.

The bathroom had a bath but only a hand held shower. The Saniflo toilet, as we were on the top floor, was noisy.
The location was perfect. So close to the Great Orme, the Promenade and the shops and cafes.

Issue with having no electricity in our room the first night due to a flood the hotel had We were offered a refund for our second nights stay with the option of moving elsewhere whilst electricians worked on the problem , situation was resolved and we were given a complimentary drink Stairs are quite steep for anyone with mobility issues

Close to the pier, The Great Orme view from the bedroom. Near some great bars. Staff friendly . Lovely cocktails !

(Twin room 205) Unfortunately we were on the top floor so lots of stairs. The room was clean and ample tea and coffee but it not as modern as the other floors and felt a little cold. Toilet was loose (moved when you sat down) and shower door hanging off and the handle was broken (we did let housekeeping know). Plenty of towels and hot water though. Only one of the beds had a side table and lamp so with one bed being on the other side of the room that guest is not able to read should they want to.
Nice hotel and staff. Situated near the tram station and pier. Modern bright communal areas - food and drinks served through the day. Parking (if available) was free outside on the street and there were carparks nearby. Great breakfast.

For the price there was nothing nit to like!
Excellent location close to excellent restaurants and sea front. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and very welcoming. Every member of staff we met did their very best to help when problems arose and were really friendly.. excellent value for money and perfect for our group. Breakfast was really well cooked and served. Plenty of free parking nearby.

The location was great , although the disco/club on the corner just down the road was loud until late . We had been out to a show at the Theatre but it didn’t really affect our stay.
Great location, friendly staff, nice room , we would definitely return as we we ve not stayed before. The guys on reception were welcoming and informative. The lady in the dining room was lovely and the breakfast was 10 out of 10!

Coming home.
The breakfast was excellent in all aspects. The quality of the food and the preparation was excellent. The staff were brilliant friendly professional and nothing was too much trouble at all. Two in particular were Jean and Violet again excellent.
