Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Property was very homely and absolutely spotless. Owners were friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are really spacey, warm and clean. Tv, tea and coffee available at all times. There was plenty of choice at breakfast time and also the option of a full English which was plentiful and well presented. We will definitely be staying there again. The hosts Julie and Kev are down to earth friendly people. We had such a laugh and a happy time there. If you want spotless accommodation with a fantastic quality full English breakfast then this is the place for you .

Had a lovely comfortable stay Julie and her husband were very accommodating, very friendly and chatty and made us feel completely welcome, we had a beautiful double room which was warm comfortable and spotlessly clean,the whole place was very homely and very well looked after ,we had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable clean bed,the room also had a very clean bathroom with a shower. Julie cooked us a beautiful breakfast which I highly recommended, nothing was too much trouble, we highly recommend Surrey House and we will definitely be back ,also close to ma kellys showboat only a minutes walk and also close to tram spot Thanks for lovely stay Matt and Tracey

BOTH Julie and kevin were spot on and great to have a chat with could not do enough for you and always asking was everything OK. the breakfast in the morning was brilliant all you could want. nothing was a problem. location is out on north shore for some this may be a draw back but the trams run all day long and the stop is just at the top of the road.
