Leisure facilities no one managing behaviour in pool. When attendant did arrive did nothing about it. Definitely not the relaxing swim I was looking for. Dedicated adult swim time may be an idea

Could do with a refurb on the bathroom. A big ger shower would be and advantage.

Light bulb missing from lamp in room which was already quite dark. The TV was very basic with no option to stream. The beds were small for a superior twin. Carpet looked dirty. Very noisy in the corridor and room next door. Was woken several times with someone vomiting in the room next door and with people talking loudly in the corridor. Was expecting better health club facilities too. The pool was very small and the changing rooms were grubby, especially the showers and lockers. We are in the restaurant and asked for our food to be brought out at the same time as one of us was having several starters as their main but my food didn't arrive until my daughter had finished all her food.

The TV was really poor, took ages to work out how to change the channel and the picture quality was awful. Silly complaint as overall a fab hotel, but it was unnecessarily bad 🙂

Lovely staff, great pool and lovely food! The beds were very comfy and it was nice and quiet.

The young locals jumping/bombing into the pool put us off going back in the pool. This was after 1930- so they were young adults. Ashame because it would have been nice and relaxing.

Lovely relaxed hotel. All employees were helpful, and the lady at breakfast with badges on her waist coat was lovely. A lot of locals use the pool and spa facilities.

The hotel was busy as it was mid term…whilst this was not an issue for me I was aware some customers were unhappy with the time at the bar it took to get served or pay bills….suggest extra staff for known busy weekends

Noise from neighbors was quite loud, luckily the baby next door slept all night and only cried now and then in lead time/after sleeptime.

Place to play cards, bar and breakfast (and should have had dinner there but didn't).

No firmer pillow option and very little different hot breakfast options if staying longer than a few days

Bar was appalling. Hogmanay and very understaffed. They did what they could but so badly managed at such a busy time of year

Only issue I had was dining room was cold so made breakfast cold rather quick.

Beds are extremely comfortable, leisure space is lovely , dinner was good and the breakfast you offer is good.

Not sure what could be better it was everything myself and wife needed also the friends that travelled with us were raving about the hotel all the way back to Glasgow.

We loved the relaxed feeling around the hotel the facilities were amazing food was great and the staff attended to our every need we had an amazing time that's why we have been back a few time keep up the great work ty.

The hotel was cold ! . Whilst having dinner in the bar we had to change location twice to avoid a draught . Several people complained about the temperature and the hotel did it’s best to place mobile heaters around the area to heat it up . However it did remain quiet cold .

Restaurant was closed, all rooms are located in the attached addition, not the beautiful historic building you see here.

The best thing about this property is the staff, they are amazing.

Not enough staff in the bar and restaurant which was the cause of long wait at times. The advertised Hogmanay gala ball was a disappointing night we were sat in the conservatory which was cold. No band just a disco No party poppers etc then the advertised stovies after midnight did not appear.

Nice hotel food was good. Staff helpful and friendly. Good sized room and comfy bed.
